Arcade Fire Has "Secret Show" This Month

It looks like your first chance to see Arcade Fire perform their new material will be this "Rocktober"! Arcade Fire recently scheduled shows around the U.S. in support of newest release Reflektor, and the band has teamed up with Music Experiment for a yet-to-be-announced show at an outdoor venue in Hollywood on Tuesday, Oct. 29. There are currently opportunities to win admission, including making Reflektor art out of your old CDs. The show is part of "The Music Experiment 2.0" social media collaboration, which includes Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Shazam, Twitter, and Vine.

Chromeo Playing "No Curfew" At Club Nokia

Get ready, Chromeo fans, because the electrofunk duo will be back in town to perform a FREE promotional show, courtesy of Jack In The Box! Teaming up with Diplo on Wednesday, Oct. 23, Chromeo will play "No Curfew" at Club Nokia, as part of a Jack In The Box promotion with AXS.

Video: Arcade Fire "Here Comes The Night Time"

If you missed the post-Saturday Night Live special of Arcade Fire performing "Here Comes The Night Time," it has been uploaded on The Creator Project's YouTube page. Arcade Fire also performed new songs "Reflektor" and "Afterlife" on Saturday Night Live, in support of Tuesday, October 29, release Reflektor. Tour dates have not yet been announced, but we'll keep you posted when Arcade Fire schedules a show in Los Angeles!

New Music Video - Arcade Fire "Reflektor"

Arcade Fire has released a new music video for their single "Reflektor," the title track off of the upcoming album, which is out on Tuesday, October 29. You can see their new interactive version of the music video here. The single will be released today, September 9, with limited-edition vinyl copies of the single available at 9:00 p.m. at Amoeba Music in Hollywood. Also, Arcade Fire is scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live! on Saturday, September 28. There are no Arcade Fire tour dates at this time, but we'll keep you updated when a Los Angeles tour date is scheduled, Scenestar readers!

HitRECord Comes To The Orpheum Theatre

A really cool event is coming to Downtown Los Angeles this summer! Following an intimate performance at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery this past Sunday, the animation, art, film, live performance, and music collaborative known as HitRECord will host the next "On The Road" event with Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, August 10.
