Idles "In Conversation" at the Grammy Museum

Following their upcoming festival set at Ohana Fest 2024, Idles will give local fans a chance to get to know them better courtesy of the Grammy Museum! They will play host to Idles on Monday, September 30, where they will be interviewed as part of the museum's "In Conversation" series about their fifth studio album, TANGK.

You can see Idles perform live before then at Doheny State Beach on Sunday, September 29, in Dana Point.

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers at The Echo

Ohana Music Fest 2024 won't be the only place to check out Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers live on stage, Scenestar readers! Following their festival set, Australian indie rock act Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers will be making their Los Angeles debut performance at The Echo on Tuesday, October 1. The show is in support of their LP release, I Love You Too.

The legendary "Queen of Funk" celebrates decades of hit-making with a show tonight with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. Opening the show will be Masego.

Desert Daze Reveal Their 2024 Festival Lineup

Desert Daze is finally back after their brief hiatus! You can finally return to Desert Daze at Moreno Beach at Lake Perris from Thursday, October 10, to Sunday, October 13, for their 11th edition of the festival. Headlining the festival this year are Alex G, Cigarettes After Sex, The Mars Volta, and Jack White.

Other highlights in this year's lineup include 100 Gecs, All Them Witches, Archer Oh, Beach Fossils, Danny Brown, The Chisel, Converge, Death From Above 1979, De La Soul, DIIV, Drab Majesty, Fleet Foxes, Floating Points, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Glare, Nick Hakim, Hinds, Jesus Piece, JJUUJJUU, The Kills, Margaritas Podridas, Molchat Doma, Mount Kimbie, Otoboke Beaver, Liz Phair, Power Trip, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Marc Rebillet, Rival Consoles, Shintaro Sakamoto, Sasami, Say She She, Sessa, Sextile, Shabaka, Sleep, Souls of Mischief, Alan Sparhawk, Temples, Thundercat, Tropical Fuck Storm, Unwound, Wine Lips, Wisp, Yu Su, and many more.

Metallica Benefit Show at YouTube Theater

Metallica will be bringing the fourth annual "Helping Hands Concert & Auction" benefiting the All Within My Hands Foundation back to Los Angeles! This time, it's moving to the Westside when Metallica plays live on Friday, December 13, at YouTube Theater, where they will perform their hits and more for a great cause.

The 2022 edition was previously held at Peacock Theater fka Microsoft Theater.

Performing in support of their last year's Weathervanes, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will be teaming up with openers Sylvan Esso and Uwade for a show tonight at the Hollywood Bowl. KCRW on-air DJ Nassir Nassirzadeh will be hosting the show.
