We recently reported that New York's TV On The Radio has two upcoming L.A. shows on Wednesday, October 22, and Thursday, October 23, at the Regent Theater. However, due to a delay in the opening of the new Downtown L.A. venue, these shows have been moved. The October 22 show will now take place at the Fonda Theatre, and the October 23 show will now take place at the Mayan. Tickets for the originally scheduled Regent Theater shows will be honored.
We recently reported that Angus & Julia Stone will be in town Tuesday, October 7, for a show at the Regent Theater. Well, that show has now moved to the Fonda Theatre in order to accommodate more fans!
We previously reported that George Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of George Harrison will take place on Sunday, Sept. 28, at El Rey Theatre. But due to "overwhelming" demand, the show has been moved to the Fonda Theatre.
Event organizer Best Fest writes via Facebook: "Ladies & Gentlemen… Due to the overwhelming response to George Fest - SOLD OUT IMMEDIATELY - we are moving the show to the larger FONDA THEATRE… Same show, same date, NEW venue…"
The event—with proceeds going to the Jameson Fund to benefit Sweet Relief—will feature performances by Brian Wilson, Norah Jones, Brandon Flowers and Mark Stoermer of The Killers, Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips, Britt Daniel of Spoon, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Nick Valensi of The Strokes, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. After several years at Largo at the Coronet, the annual L.A. Bluegrass Situation Festival will take place this fall at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel! The two-day festival will be held at the Downtown L.A. venue on Friday, October 10, with Rhiannon Giddens, Josh Ritter, and Willie Watson, and on Saturday, October 11, with Lord Huron, Blind Pilot, Shakey Graves, and Langhorne Slim.

We previously reported that Peter Murphy has scheduled two summer shows at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, July 3, and Saturday, July 5. Well, those shows have been moved to El Rey Theatre! Tickets to the Fonda Theatre shows will be honored at El Rey Theatre—or refunds are available at point of purchase.
If you have not yet bought your tickets, they are on sale now via AXS for $25.00 to $100.00 each plus service fees. Ringo Deathstarr is the opener for the July 3 show; My Jerusalem is the opener for the July 5 show.

We had reported earlier that Los Angeles's Failure had two upcoming shows at the Mayan Theatre in Downtown L.A. on Wednesday, June 18, and Thursday, June 19. Well, those two shows have now been combined into one, which will take place on June 18 at the Fonda Theatre. Tickets to the original Mayan shows will be honored at the Fonda show. Also, for those who already have tickets and for the first 100 people who buy tickets to the new Fonda show, you will receive a limited-edition custom show poster.
