It's hump day (or Ash Wednesday for Catholics), Scenestar readers. You can still head out before the weather gets crazy by checking out our Show of the Night selection: Manchester Orchestra! They're in town for a pair of intimate tour dates starting tonight with an acoustic show and screening of The Valley of Vision at the Lodge Room in Highland Park. Manchester Orchestra will also be at the Grammy Museum on Thursday, February 23, in Downtown Los Angeles.

Los Lobos Drive In Concert Moves to the Citadel

Los Lobos has moved their drive-in show closer to their hometown of East L.A.! The band was originally headlining down to Orange County to headline an all-ages tour date at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA on Saturday, August 29. Now Los Lobos are set to rock the Citadel Outlet Mall tonight with openers Miriah Avila and Los Mysteriosos.

Guns N Roses Now at Banc of California Stadium

I know some of you were looking forward to seeing Guns N' Roses next weekend at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Saturday, August 8. Now the wait gets longer now that the show is moving to Thursday, August 19, 2021. at a new venue: Banc of California Stadium.

Tropicália 2019 Moves to the Fairplex in Pomona

They're making room, Scenestar readers. The SOLD OUT Tropicália Music & Taco Festival is moving the third edition of this festival to the Fairplex in Pomona on Saturday, November 9, and Sunday, November 10, instead of having it at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena Grounds to make more room for attendees. Headlining this year are Los Tigres Del Norte and Kali Uchis. Other acts scheduled to play at the music festival include Bomba Estereo, Boy Pablo, Caifanes, Chicano Batman, Cuco, The Drums, Enanitos Verdes, FIDLAR, Hombres G, Natalia Lafourcade, Maldita Vecindad, Paquita La Del Barrio, Los Pasteles Verdes, La Santa Cecilia, Surf Curse, Yellow Days, and many more.

Alec Benjamin: Two Shows at the Fonda Theatre

We have yet another show featuring singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin to look forward to, Scenestar readers. He already SOLD OUT his previously announced tour date at the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, October 9. Now Alec Benjamin will play another Caught In the Middle Tour tour date at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, October 10.

FYF Fest 2018 "Side Shows" Announced

Just because FYF Fest 2018 was canceled, it doesn't mean you can't see some of the festival acts this summer! Some of the scheduled acts that were set to play at Exposition Park on Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22, will be back for their own headlining shows at the Echo, El Rey Theatre, Lazaro's Latin Lounge, the Roxy, the Observatory, Shrine Expo Hall, and the Wiltern. This includes shows coming up featuring Bicep, Car Seat Headrest, Glassjaw, Kali Uchis, My Bloody Valentine, Lawrence Rothman, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, U.S. Girls, and more.

Marian Hill Moves From Ace Hotel to Fonda

In support of new album Unusual, out May 11, Marian Hill was originally scheduled to perform a "Localchella" show on April 12 at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. But now that show has moved to the Fonda Theatre, with special guest Sir Sly. Tickets that were purchased for the DTLA venue will be honored at the Hollywood show. If you have not yet purchased tickets, they're available via AXS for $33.50 each plus service fees.
