This Thursday is stacked, Scenestar readers. There's something for everyone, but a concert you can hit up for sure is a rare Los Angeles tour date by our pick for Show of the Night: Keane! The English alternative rock band will be celebrating a decade of Hopes and Fears by performing tonight at the Greek Theatre with opener Everything Everything. Everything Everything also has a DJ set following the show tonight at The Virgil.

Contest: Zheani at the Fonda Theatre

Brisbane-based fairy trap artist Zheani will be bringing her world tour to L.A. this week! You can see her live when she plays an 18+ show at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, September 5. The tour is in support of Zheani Sparkes latest release, The Spiritual Meat Grinder.

Joining Zheani will be openers Buttress and Zand.

Role Model to Headline a Show at the Wiltern

We have even more Role Model coming at us, Scenestar readers! As we previously reported, indie bedroom pop act Role Model will be opening for Gracie Abrams on her "The Secret of Us Tour" dates at the Greek Theatre on Monday, September 9; Wednesday, September 11; and Thursday, September 12,

Once the tour wraps up, Role Model will embark on his own "No Place Like Tour" with a headlining show at the Wiltern on Tuesday, April 1. Opening the show will be Debbii Dawson.

Idles "In Conversation" at the Grammy Museum

Following their upcoming festival set at Ohana Fest 2024, Idles will give local fans a chance to get to know them better courtesy of the Grammy Museum! They will play host to Idles on Monday, September 30, where they will be interviewed as part of the museum's "In Conversation" series about their fifth studio album, TANGK.

You can see Idles perform live before then at Doheny State Beach on Sunday, September 29, in Dana Point.

TV On The Radio Reunion Shows at El Rey

For the first time since 2019, we're going to get to see TV On The Radio perform live in Los Angeles! The New York indie rock legends will give us three chances to see them reunite to headline a series of shows when they take the stage at El Rey Theatre on Wednesday, December 4; Thursday, December 5; and Saturday, December 7.

The tour is in support of the 20th anniversary of their debut album release, Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes, which will be re-released by their original label, Touch and Go Records.

Contest: Sophie Ellis-Bextor at The Bellwether

Get ready to get the weekend started with Sophie Ellis-Bextor! If you missed her at Outloud 2024, you can make up for it by seeing the English singer-songwriter live in support of her latest release, Hana, at The Bellwether on Friday, September 6. Joining Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be opener Holiday Sidewinder.

Scott Hansen, aka Tycho, will be playing the first of three intimate shows tonight in support of his latest album release Infinite Health, at The Roxy.
