End of 2020 Covid-19 Quarantine Spotify Playlist

We almost made it to the end of 2020, Scenestar readers! We hope you're spending New Year's Eve at home or in quarantine somewhere safe so that we can hopefully have some actual concerts in Los Angeles to share with you in the new year. There are plenty of streaming options on the internet tonight and on the radio starting at 8 p.m. (We see you KCRW's Travis Holcombe), but if you choose to have a COVID-19-themed music night at home, we have a Spotify quarantine playlist that we made early this year to get you through.

Thanks to all the venues, promoters, musicians, labels, marketers, public relations people, and especially our followers/readers for hanging in there and waiting to have some cool concerts to look forward to. Jhene Aiko to Perform at the Greek Theatre

Alternative R&B singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko has a new album and upcoming tour date at the Greek Theatre! The Magic Hour Tour will bring Jhené Aiko to the Los Feliz outdoor venue on Monday, June 1, in support of her upcoming release Chilombo. Ann Marie and Queen Naija open the show.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds at Staples Center

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have announced a North American tour this "Rocktober"! This time they'll follow up their most recent tour dates at the Forum and solo show at Walt Disney Concert Hall with one at Staples Center on Saturday, October 10, in support of Ghosteen. Weyes Blood will be opening for Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds on their upcoming tour.

Joywave to Perform at the Teragram Ballroom

In support of latest release Possession, Joywave has scheduled an upcoming local show! The band will headline all-ages shows at Teragram Ballroom on Wednesday, May 6.

Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien at Hollywood Forever

Thom Yorke isn't the only Radiohead member playing solo shows in between albums. Guitarist Ed O'Brien will also be hitting the road for a brief North American tour which will make a stop at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Thursday, February 13.

Thundercat to Headline the Wiltern Theatre

Local favorite Thundercat has booked a pair of shows early next year! In support of latest release Drunk, the Brainfeeder artist has upcoming shows at the Wiltern on Saturday, March 7, and at the Observatory on Sunday, March 8.

White Denim to Play Two at Teragram Ballroom

Four-piece Austin rock band White Denim has scheduled a pair of upcoming headlining shows! In support of newest release In Person, White Denim will headline the Teragram Ballroom in Downtown Los Angeles on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4. You can also head south to Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace to see them live at one of our favorite venues on Thursday, April 2. Chris Forsyth opens all three shows.

Bad Bunny to Play a Date at the Forum

Bad Bunny is another Coachella 2019 act set to come back in the fall! The Puerto Rican reggaeton artist will follow up a recent date at Staples Center with one at the Forum on Sunday, November 17, in support of latest release X 100pre.
