2013 has been a great one! It was a great year in and around Los Angeles with so many musical offerings—including amazing live concerts, moments captured on film, and impressive album releases. It's New Year's Eve, Scenestar readers! We made it through another year of live music and good times. It's a big night for going out, and the hottest event taking our Show Of The Night goes to Rhondapolis: New Year's Eve 2014! Taking over The Standard, Downtown Los Angeles tonight, A Club Called Rhonda will be held on 13 floors with four custom discotheques and a rooftop afterparty the following day. Some of our favorite artists performing tonight include Todd Edwards, Peanut Butter Wolf, and more.

It's almost time to wrap up the year, Scenestar readers. Taking the title of our Show of the Night is Common! Hip hop artist Common will play the last of his two locally scheduled shows tonight at the House of Blues Hollywood, following his show last night at the House of Blues Anaheim.

BUY TICKETS: The Growlers at EchoPlex

It's time to wrap up the weekend, Scenestar readers. The new year is almost upon us, and we're ready to go out with some great live music at our Show of the Night, The Growlers. On tour in support of recent release Hung At Heart, The Growlers will perform the last of three consecutive shows in Echo Park by playing an all-ages show at the EchoPlex tonight. Opening the show will be The Abigails and Mystic Braves. The Growlers will also perform with Tinariwen on Thursday, April 17, at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Saturday is looking gorgeous in Los Angeles, Scenestar readers. The sun is out, and it's time to get out there, but when night falls, we recommend catching some live music, including our Show of the Night selection, Circa Survive! Back for the first time since their gig last year at Club Nokia, Anthony Green and the rest of Circa Survive will headline an evening of music with special guests, rarities, and more at the Shrine Expo Hall tonight. Opening the show is The Dear Hunter.
