We're so close to the weekend, Scenestar readers. That's not going to stop us from heading out to see one of our favorite acts taking our Show of the Night title: Explosions in the Sky! Experimental post-rock act Explosions in the Sky will celebrate their 20th anniversary tonight with opener Sessa when they headline the Hollywood Palladium. You can also see them perform tomorrow at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana.

Guadalupe Valley Fest 2019 Set Times Released

Who's ready to drive down to Baja for one of the coolest festivals this year? You can meet us there to see British musical outfit U.N.K.L.E and more at Guadalupe Valley Wine, Food & Music Festival in Valle De Guadalupe! The 18+ "feastival" has revealed set times for the big event taking place at Bodegas del Valle on Saturday, September 14. Last year's festival lineup featured a headlining set by Coachella 2019 artist Bob Moses at Decantos Vinícola in Ensenada. Other artists performing this year include Buena Tarde, Dance Spirit, Kerala Dust, Santos & Zurdo, and Thieves Like Us. This also includes DJ sets by Matthew Dear, Django Django, Miami Horror, Sharam, and many more.

BUY TICKETS: Mac DeMarco at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre

We're at the halfway point of the week once again, Scenestar readers. There's so much going on but we're leaning on heading out to see our Show of the Night selection: Mac DeMarco! Coachella 2019 act will be headlining the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre tonight in support of his latest release Here Comes the Cowboy. The Garden is his scheduled opener. He also has a second show this week at the Greek Theatre on Friday, September 13.

BUY TICKETS: Elton John at the Honda Center

Here we go again, Scenestar readers. One of the legendary artists of our time will kick things off this Tuesday as the recipient of our Show of the Night title: Sir Elton John! His Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour returns for two nights at the Honda Center tonight, and Wednesday, September 11. He will also be back next month to take part in a special Rocketman: Live in Concert event at the Greek Theatre on Thursday, October 17, where Elton John will be joined by the actor who portrayed him in the movie, Taron Egerton, and by the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra to play live-to-picture all the songs from the film during the special screening of Rocketman at the Los Feliz venue.

Here we go with another week of cool concerts, Scenestar readers. We're starting our Monday off by rocking things out in Hollywood with our Show of the Night selection: Heart! Joined by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Elle King, the three acts will perform at the Hollywood Bowl tonight as part of Heart's Love Alive Tour.

BUY TICKETS: Karen O (of Yeah Yeah Yeahs) & Danger Mouse’s ‘Lux Prima’ at the Theatre at Ace Hotel

We made it, Scenestar readers. The weekend is here and so is one of the most anticipated concerts of the week featuring our Show of the Night selection: The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O and Danger Mouse! They will be performing in support of their album collaboration Lux Prima in the first of two consecutive nights at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. The pair had previously showcased their album at An Encounter with Lux Prima at Marciano Art Foundation earlier this year. Molly Lewis will open both shows.

The English rock pioneers are in the middle of their Long Goodbye Tour with a stop here tonight in Los Angeles at the Wiltern in support of recent release Infinite.
