Arcade Fire Has "Secret Show" This Month

It looks like your first chance to see Arcade Fire perform their new material will be this "Rocktober"! Arcade Fire recently scheduled shows around the U.S. in support of newest release Reflektor, and the band has teamed up with Music Experiment for a yet-to-be-announced show at an outdoor venue in Hollywood on Tuesday, Oct. 29. There are currently opportunities to win admission, including making Reflektor art out of your old CDs. The show is part of "The Music Experiment 2.0" social media collaboration, which includes Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Shazam, Twitter, and Vine.

Contest: #EchoTakesLA July 25th Shows

It's going down tomorrow, Scenestar readers! Organized by Spaceland Productions, the #EchoTakesLA celebration will feature four shows tomorrow, July 25. There is a SOLD OUT Glassjaw show at the EchoPlex, Night Terrors of 1927 at The Echo, No Age at the Santa Monica Pier, and The Uncluded (Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson) at First Unitarian Church. The #EchoTakesLA w/ Four Thursday Shows

There are often days in Los Angeles in which you wish you could clone yourself in order to attend several shows in one night. Spaceland Productions has an especially crazy schedule this Thursday, July 25, with four great shows! There is the SOLD OUT Glassjaw show at the EchoPlex, Night Terrors of 1927 at The Echo, No Age at the Santa Monica Pier, and The Uncluded (Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson) at First Unitarian Church. To promote these shows, Spaceland Productions will host a scavenger hunt with some cool prizes!

The Scenestar Goes To Coachella Weekend 2

It's that time again! We're headed to Indio to soak up some music during Weekend 2 of Coachella 2013. We'll cover the sights and sounds of the festival at the Empire Polo Grounds, and we're looking forward to what the weekend will bring.

For those attending Coachella 2013, we will have a daily ticket giveaway this weekend! On Friday, there will be a contest for Bat For Lashes at the Fonda Theatre on Tuesday, April 23. On Saturday, there is a contest for Crystal Castles at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, April 26. And on Sunday, we will host a contest for Twin Shadow at the Glass House on Friday, June 28. Also, our festival photographer Chris Molina will be taking photos of the bands as well as attendees at Coachella 2013! The FYF L.A. Scavenger Hunt Is Back For 2011

FYF is bringing back one of their fun filled events again this year! The 2011 FYF L.A. Scavenger Hunt returns on Saturday, Nov. 19 with all contestants meeting up at Dodger Stadium's parking lot noon.

Once again, the event will benefit six local charities and homeless centers. Participants finishing in the top three spots will win prizes totalling $5,000!

Entries are going for the early bird price of $7 via Ticketfly that will go up to $10 the day of the event. The event will be set up in teams of 2 - 5 participants per team. Click below to get in on FYF's 2011 Scavenger Hunt and have fun helping a great cause!

Scheduled for Saturday, July 30, El Gran Silencio, Immortal Technique, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Muse, Rage Against The Machine and Rise Against all take the stage for a unique show in Los Angeles.
