The Cure Have Three Shows at Hollywood Bowl

It has been a bit since The Cure has had a tour date in Los Angeles, but the wait is finally over! If you missed The Cure's most recent L.A. performance at Pasadena Daydream Festival in 2019, you can now see the band return to the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, May 23, Wednesday, May 24, and Thursday, May 25, with opener The Twilight Sad.

You can also head south to San Diego to see The Cure on Saturday, May 20, at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista and in the Bay Area on Saturday, May 27, at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

Re:SET Concert Series Booked at the Rose Bowl

We have another great event coming to Brookside at the Rose Bowl this summer, courtesy of Goldenvoice! The Re:SET touring concert series will be taking place in Pasadena on Friday, June 2, Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4 with a lineup that consists of Steve Lacy, James Blake, Toro y Moi, and Fousheé on Friday, Boygenius, Clairo, Dijon, and Bartees Strange on Saturday, and LCD Soundsystem, Jamie XX, Idles, and Big Freedia on Sunday.

Each day of music will feature full sets from each act with no competing stage conflicting with any of the scheduled performances at any of the 12-city concert series tour stops in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Columbia, Forest Hills, Grand Prairie, Nashville, New Orleans, Palo Alto, Pasadena, and San Diego.

Coldplay Add a Second Show at the Rose Bowl

We have even more Coldplay to look forward to, Scenestar readers! As we previously reported, Coldplay has announced their return after having to postpone their show last year at SoFi Stadium with a new all-ages tour date at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, September 30. Now an additional tour date will be taking place on Sunday, October 1. Joining Coldplay for both shows will be openers H.E.R. and 070 Shake.

Back on tour in support of their latest release, Music of the Sphere, Coldplay has announced a West Coast tour! If you missed them last year at SoFi Stadium because of their show postponement, you could head to Pasadena instead to see the U.K. band live when they headline a rescheduled all-ages show at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, September 30, and an additional tour date on Sunday, October 1. Joining Coldplay will be openers H.E.R. and 070 Shake.

Beach House to Play at House of Blues Anaheim

Baltimore-based dream pop act Beach House isn't done with Southern California just yet! If you missed them at the Greek Theatre back in April, This Ain't No Picnic 2022 back in August, or their last-minute set at Desert Daze 2022 this month, you can make up for it by heading down to House of Blues Anaheim to see them play on Monday, December 5.

Beach House will also be playing in support of Once Twice Melody at The Magnolia Performing Arts Center in El Cajon on Tuesday, December 6, and at the Majestic Ventura Theater on Wednesday, December 7.

Blink-182 Adds Banc of California Stadium Show

We have another Blink-182 show to look forward to, Scenestar readers! As we previously reported, the original Blink-182 will be bringing their reunion to Los Angeles next summer when they headline a show at Banc of California Stadium on Friday, June 16, with opener Turnstile.

Now a second Blink-182 show is taking place when they take the stage again at Banc of California Stadium on Saturday, June 17.

The return of Blink-182 is upon us, Scenestar readers! The original Blink-182 lineup has decided to reunite once again and will be taking the stage next summer at Banc of California Stadium on Friday, June 16, and Saturday, June 17, with opener Turnstile.

Contest: Russ at the Hollywood Bowl

After two years, rapper Russ is finally coming back to Los Angeles! His "Shake The Globe Tour" has been rescheduled and is now "The Journey is Everything Tour" with a show at the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, May 5, in support of his latest release Shake The Snow Globe and Chomp 2 with opener Bia.
