The Swell Season Also at Hollywood Forever

We have more The Swell Season to look forward to, Scenestar readers! As we previously announced, The Swell Season are back together again to celebrate the 15th (and counting) anniversary of their indie musical 'Once', with a headlining show at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday, August 27.

Now Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová are giving Los Angeles the chance to see them yet again at Fairbanks Lawn at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Tuesday, August 29.

Besame Mucho 2023 Returns to Dodger Stadium

Making its return in 2023 is Besame Mucho! Following the success of the inaugural edition last year, the festival featuring a mix of iconic multigenerational Latin artists returns to Dodger Stadium near Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, December 2. Headlining this year are Los Bukis, Gloria Trevi, and Maná.

The one-day music festival will also feature performances by Los Amigos Invisibles, Los Angeles Azules, Aterciopelados, Ramon Ayala, Banda El Recodo, Banda Machos, Bomba Estereo, Cafe Tacvba, Camila, Duncan Dhu, Enanitos Verdes, Alejandro Fernandez, Hombres G, Jesse & Joy, Natalia Lafourcade, La Ley, Magneto, Molotov, Reik, and Los Tucanes De Tijuana, among others.

Botch: Two Shows at the Fonda Theatre

We have another big reunion coming to Los Angeles, Scenestar readers! This time it's mathcore legends Botch making their return after 20 years of not touring with upcoming tour dates at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8. Fans in Orange County can see them live at the Observatory on Saturday, December 9.

We're at the halfway point of the week, Scenestar readers. We have even more incentive to get you out of the house and it involves our Show of the Night: Unwound! The post-hardcore band is back together again after 21 years and will play the last of two shows tonight at the Wiltern. Kamikaze Palm Tree will open the last L.A. tour date.

Re:SET Concert Series Booked at the Rose Bowl

We have another great event coming to Brookside at the Rose Bowl this summer, courtesy of Goldenvoice! The Re:SET touring concert series will be taking place in Pasadena on Friday, June 2, Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4 with a lineup that consists of Steve Lacy, James Blake, Toro y Moi, and Fousheé on Friday, Boygenius, Clairo, Dijon, and Bartees Strange on Saturday, and LCD Soundsystem, Jamie XX, Idles, and Big Freedia on Sunday.

Each day of music will feature full sets from each act with no competing stage conflicting with any of the scheduled performances at any of the 12-city concert series tour stops in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Columbia, Forest Hills, Grand Prairie, Nashville, New Orleans, Palo Alto, Pasadena, and San Diego.

RBD: Four Reunion Shows at BMO Stadium

We have even more RBD reunion shows coming to Los Angeles, Scenestar readers! As we recently announced, the Mexican Latin pop act will be bringing their "Soy Rebelde Tour" to BMO Stadium (formerly Banc of California Stadium) on Thursday, October 19; Friday, October 20; and Sunday, October 22. After selling out those tour dates, a fourth show has now been added on Wednesday, October 18.

The Sisters of Mercy: Two Palladium Shows

Los Angeles will be getting a second chance to welcome back English rock act The Sisters of Mercy! As we previously reported, The Sisters of Mercy will play their first L.A. show since 2008 at the Hollywood Palladium on Tuesday, May 23. Fans that missed out will get another chance to welcome them back on Monday, May 15.

Le Tigre Reunion Show at the Greek Theatre

Another iconic band returning in 2023 is Le Tigre! After playing their first live set in 12 years at This Ain't No Picnic 2022, Kathleen Hanna, Johanna Fateman, and JD Samson a.k.a. Le Tigre will be bringing their reunion tour to the Greek Theatre on Sunday, July 9. This is their first headlining tour date in Los Angeles since their 2005 show at Avalon in Hollywood.
