Anaïs Mitchell to Play at the Masonic Lodge

Vermont-based folk singer Anaïs Mitchell will be playing in Los Angeles after all! After postponing her previously scheduled show at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on Thursday, January 27, Anaïs Mitchell has decided to play at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery instead on Monday, May 9.

Jeff Tweedy Postpones His Shows at Largo

It looks like you might have to wait a bit longer to see Jeff Tweedy of Wilco perform solo, Scenestar readers. The Wilco frontman has announced that he will be postponing his upcoming all-ages residency shows at the Largo at the Coronet. The shows were originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 28; Wednesday, December 29; Thursday, December 30; Saturday, January 1, 2022; and Sunday, January 2, in support of his latest solo release Love Is the King.

Kraftwerk 3-D Back at the Shrine Auditorium

One of our most anticipated shows of 2020 has finally been rescheduled! German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk were originally going to bring their perfectly synchronized audio-visual spectacle with pristine digital sound and 3-D projections to the Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Now the group will play tracks off of their catalog of eight albums (Autobahn, Computer World, The Man Machine, The Mix, Radio-Activity, Techno Pop, Trans Europe Express, and Tour De France) at their newly-scheduled L.A. tour date on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

Car Seat Headrest Reschedule at the Wiltern

Get ready to welcome Car Seat Headrest back to Los Angeles! After cancelling their show at the Wiltern on Saturday, July 18, 2020, Car Seat Headrest have decided to try again by headlining the Koreatown venue on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Bartees Strange is the scheduled opener. The show is in support of their latest release Making A Door Less Open.

BTS Have Four Shows Booked at SoFi Stadium

BTS have made plans to return to Los Angeles this year! After previously scheduled dates at the Rose Bowl last year due to COVID-19, the Bangtan Boys have decided to come back to Los Angeles to take the stage at SoFi Stadium as part of a just announced "Permission To Dance" tour on Saturday, November 27; Sunday, November 28; Wednesday, December 1; and Thursday, December 2.

KCRW's FREE Summer Nights Series Returns

UPDATE: JULY & AUGUST'S SUMMER NIGHTS DATES ARE POSTPONED

KCRW's Summer Nights FREE concert series returns again this year! One of Los Angeles' most eclectic radio stations is back with a scaled back series due to the pandemic, but will still manage to take over California African American Museum, California Plaza, Descanso Gardens, and One Colorado, with musical performances by James Francies, Madame Gandhi, and Nation of Language.

KCRW DJs Aaron Byrd, Raul Campos, Novena Carmel, LeRoy Downs, Travis Holcombe, Anthony Valadez, and Valida will be spinning on different nights over the course of the annual concert series.

The Sounds Reschedule Their Troubadour Show

Swedish band The Sounds have finally announced their return! The Scenestar favorite had previously announced local tour dates before COVID-19 changed their plans. The Sounds will be sticking with the Troubadour on Tuesday, September 21, and will switch out their show at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace with one in Garden Grove instead at the Garden Amphitheatre on Thursday, September 23. The tour is in support of their latest release Things We Do For Love.

Men I Trust Move From Echoplex to the Belasco

Demand is high here in Los Angeles to see Canadian indie electro-pop band Men I Trust! As we previously reported, the band will be performing twice in L.A. in support of their fourth full-length release The Untourable Album at El Rey Theatre on Friday, October 15, and at Echoplex on Saturday, October 16. Now, Men I Trust is making room for more fans by moving their show from Echo Park to The Belasco in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, October 16.
