Irene Diaz to Perform Live at The Paramount

One of our favorite up-and-coming artists is having a record-release show next year! Irene Diaz has announced that she will be headlining The Paramount on Friday, February 18, in support of her yet-to-be-announced full-length album release. Irene Diaz recently opened for Carla Morrison at The Roxy this week.

LANY Album Release Show at the Troubadour

LANY is having an intimate record release show this week! As we previously announced, the electronic trio had scheduled a show at The Forum on Saturday, November 13, as part of "GG BB XX Tour." with opener Keshi. Now a not so "secret show" is taking place to celebrate the release of gg bb xx at the Troubadour on Friday, September 3.

Here we go again, Scenestar readers. We have another big "secret show" happening post-COVID-19 lockdown featuring our pick for Show of the Night: Tyler, The Creator. Tyler, The Creator will be playing his first public show in support of his latest release Call Me If You Get Lost at The Roxy tonight. Fans that signed up yesterday to his mailing list were randomly chosen to attend the intimate show for FREE in West Hollywood and received instructions to pick up their pair of tickets today at El Rey Theatre between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. for the 16+ "secret show." Any left over tickets at the distribution site will be available for on sale after 4 p.m. Proof of vaccination is required if you were chosen to attend.

Amoeba Hollywood to Reopen on April 1st

It's time to get excited, Scenestar readers. This is NOT a cruel April Fool's joke either, because Amoeba Music is finally BACK! The Hollywood location has announced that its new location is opening next week following the closing of its 6400 Sunset Blvd closing permanently. They will now be opening their new location at 6200 Hollywood Blvd on Thursday, April 1. Amoeba will have new temporary hours as well: Monday - Sunday 11 am - 8 pm (Buy counter open 11 am - 7 pm).

The iconic record store will be following all health and safety guidelines from local city and county public health departments, including social distancing and mandatory wearing of face coverings over the nose and mouth. More details on Amoeba Music Hollywood are below, and we're as excited as you are to see the new location. See you there!

Sufjan Stevens has released a new music video for "Video Game," which is the second single from his upcoming album release Ascension. His new music video was choreographed and danced by Jalaiah, and directed by Nicole Ginelli.

Nine Inch Nails Release 'Ghosts V - VI' For Free

For those of you that need a soundtrack to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have two to choose from courtesy of Nine Inch Nails! Trent Reznor tweeted to fans this morning "Anybody out there? New Nine Inch Nails out now. Ghosts V - VI. Hours and hours of music. Free. Some of it kind of happy, some not so much."

Contest: The Undercover Dream Lovers at the Lodge Room

Psychedelic indie rock band The Undercover Dream Lovers is coming to Highland Park this weekend! The Undercover Dream Lovers will be performing an album release show in support of It's All In Your Head, at the Lodge Room on Friday, February 28. Scott Gilmore and Video Age open the show. We're giving our readers the chance to attend courtesy of a contest for tickets to the show!
