Dry Cleaning Will Return to Play at the Belasco

UK post-punk band Dry Cleaning will be back next year in Los Angeles! If you missed them play their set at Primavera Sound LA 2022, you can see the southeast London four-piece take the stage again at The Belasco in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, January 22, when they play in support of their latest album release Stumpwork.

Despite the last couple of weeks of Southern California scorching heat, the Friday kickoff of Primavera was graced by a sunkissed picturesque day. The crisp breeze and festival atmosphere reminiscent of the carefree days of a pre-Covid era are warm but equally offset. For many long-time Los Angeles concert rats and music editorials, Los Angeles State Historic Park is a familiar reminder of yesteryear’s FYF Fest, which in some ways, laid the groundwork for the venue’s subsequent music events and festivals. Curiosity and anticipation peek, wondering if the Primavera Sound production and logistical operations will meet or exceed expectations from its promoter predecessors.

Primavera Sound LA 2022 Set Times Released

It's time to get ready for one of this year's most anticipated summer music festivals! Primavera Sound Los Angeles will be making its L.A. debut from Friday, September 16, to Sunday, September 18, at Los Angeles State Historic Park with headliners Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, and Nine Inch Nails. Today, the festival has released set times for this weekend!

Other notable acts performing this year include Amyl and the Sniffers, Arca, Bad Gyal, Beak>, Bicep, James Blake, Boy Harsher, Buscabulla, Cigarettes After Sex, Clairo, Current Joys, Darkside, Dry Cleaning, Fontaines D.C., Georgia, Girl In Red, Giveon, Kim Gordon, Gustaf, Helena Hauff, Khruangbin, King Krule, Little Jesus, Jeff Mills, Mitski, Paloma Mami, PinkPantheress, Shygirl, Special Interest, Stereolab, Surf Curse, John Talabot, Faye Webster, Tierra Whack, and possibly more acts will be announced closer to the festival date.

Low will no longer be performing and has been replaced by Warpaint.

Surf Curse to Headline the Hollywood Palladium

Surf Curse are following up their sets at Coachella 2022 and Primavera Sound LA 2022 with their own local tour date! The indie rock band will be playing a set at this year's edition of Primavera Sound LA at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Saturday, September 17, but will be following that up with a show of their own at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, December 17.

Darkside Will Also Perform at Hollywood Forever

One of our favorite acts performing at this year's Primavera Sound Los Angeles has added a warm-up show at one of the city's most unique venues! Before taking the stage on Friday, September 16, at Los Angeles State Historic Park, Darkside will make their return to Los Angeles at Fairbanks Lawn at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Wednesday, September 14, as part of the festival's "Primavera In The City."

Nine Inch Nails Also at the Santa Barbara Bowl

One of this year's most anticipated summer music festival headliners will have a warm-up show before the big weekend! As we previously reported, Primavera Sound will be taking place for the first time ever in Los Angeles from Friday, September 16, to Sunday, September 18, with headliners Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, and Nine Inch Nails.

Before performing on Saturday, September 17, Nine Inch Nails has decided to add a warm-up show on Tuesday, September 13, at the Santa Barbara Bowl! Yves Tumor will open the show.

There will be sideshows taking place around the city leading up to the festival starting on Monday, September 12.
