Kongos Has FREE Show Booked In October

The last time we saw South African rock band Kongos—the music project of brothers Johnny, Jesse, Dylan, and Daniel Kongos—was when they headlined a SOLD OUT show at the Troubadour in July. And now you can see them for FREE! As part of the Lexus Pop-Up Concert Series, powered by Pandora, Kongos will perform at the March Airfield Museum at the March Air Reserve Base in Riverside on Thursday, October 9.

92.9 KJEE Summer Round-Up Back In 2014

One of our favorite annual radio music festivals is returning this summer! 92.9 FM KJEE has released its lineup for this year's Summer Round-Up at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Thursday, May 15. This year's edition will feature headliner 311 along with Big Data, Birds Of Tokyo, and Young The Giant.

Bauhaus lead singer Peter Murphy will perform an all-Bauhaus set this week! To celebrate 35 years of Bauhaus, he will perform with Richard Thorne and Ours at the Fonda Theatre on Friday, July 26, followed by a SOLD OUT date on Saturday, July 27.

Radical Face To Headline Hollywood Forever

Another great show has been announced at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery! Ben Cooper, AKA Radical Face, is scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Forever Masonic Lodge on Thursday, October 24, in support of his upcoming fall release The Family Tree: The Branches.

Way Over Yonder Fest At Santa Monica Pier

It looks like Santa Monica Pier is the place to hold festivals nowadays. This time it's Way Over Yonder, which will take place on Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6. Way Over Yonder was conceived as a complement to the Newport Folk Festival—it's a West Coast festival at the other end of Route 66! The inaugural event will feature headliners Neko Case (Saturday) and Conor Oberst (Sunday). Other artists on the Saturday bill include Calexico, Brett Dennen, Justin Townes Earle, and Shovels & Rope, among others. On Sunday, The Felice Brothers, First Aid Kit, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Jonathan Wilson, and others will perform. The festival will have a main stage on the outdoor deck and a carousel stage inside the historic carousel building.

Festival Supreme 2013 have finally announced their lineup for their 2013 festival! Taking place on Saturday, October 19 at Santa Monica Pier, the brand-new comedy and music festival will feature Beardyman, Fred Armisen, Zack Galifianakis, Mr. Show, The Mighty Boosh, Princess, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Tim & Eric, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, Reggie Watts, and more with hosts Tenacious D.
