Glen Hansard to Perform at the Regent Theater

Glen Hansard will be back again next month with an intimate headlining show! The Academy Award and Tony Award-winning artist, Glen Hansard, will be making a tour stop at The Regent on Monday, September 27, in support of his solo release, This Wild Willing. The show follows his set with his band, The Frames, at Ohana Fest at Doheny State Beach on Saturday, September 25.

Ohana Encore to Feature Headliner Pearl Jam

It looks like only having one weekend of the fifth edition of Ohana Fest isn't enough for local live music lovers. Now a second weekend called Ohana Encore will be taking place on Friday, October 1, and Saturday, October 2, with Pearl Jam headlining both nights. Beck, Lord Huron, Pluralone, St. Panther, Vanillaroma, White Reaper, and ZZ Ward will perform on Friday, October 1, while Brandi Carlile, Joe Wong + Nite Creatures, Amythyst Kiah, Naked Giants, NHC (Navarro Hawkins Chaney), Margo Price, and Sleater-Kinney, perform on Saturday, October 2.

Both festival weekends will be taking place at Doheny State Beach with the first weekend taking place on Friday, September 24, to Sunday, September 26, with Kings of Leon, Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam,) and Pearl Jam headlining.

Mon Laferte to Headline the Wiltern

Chilean singer-songwriter Mon Laferte is giving local fans another chance to see her performing in support of her latest album release Seis! Besides seeing Mon Laferte play a set on Sunday, September 26, at Ohana Fest 2021 at Doheny State Beach., you can also make plans to see her headline the Wiltern on Thursday, September 23. Fans in Orange County can see Mon Laferte at House of Blues Anaheim on Wednesday, September 29.

Cavetown to Play a Show at the Masonic Lodge

English singer-songwriter Cavetown has added his own headlining date in L.A. to get ready for Ohana Fest 2021! Before performing at Doheny State Beach from Sunday, September 26, Cavetown will perform at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever on Friday, September 24, with opener Addison Grace.

The Backseat Lovers to Play at the Troubadour

The Backseat Lovers are giving local fans even more opportunities to see them live this year! The indie rock band out of Salt Lake City already have a set scheduled at Ohana Fest 2021 on Saturday, September 25 at Doheny State Beach. Now, the Troubadour will play host to The Backseat Lovers on Friday, September 17, while they also play a show at the Constellation Room on Thursday, September 23, to get ready for their upcoming festival set.

My Morning Jacket at the Santa Barbara Bowl

Ohana Fest 2021 won't be your only local opportunity to see My Morning Jacket this year. The indie rock band out of Kentucky has scheduled a tour stop at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Thursday, September 23. Durand Jones & The Indications will be opening the show. Their set at Ohana Fest is scheduled for Friday, September 24.

New Music Video - Mon Laferte "Amado Mío"

Chilean singer-songwriter Mon Laferte is back with a new music video for her single "Amado Mio," off of her newest album release Seis.

The music video for "Amado Mío,” features Mon Laferte sharing personal footage of herself on the beach in Malibu. Her soft vocals blend with the ocean waves, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere. The clip was recorded during her current visit to the United States, where Mon Laferte also painted a street mural in downtown Los Angeles, in collaboration with Amazon Music. The artwork, titled ‘Seis’ was inspired by the album artwork, as well as Laferte’s other interests beyond music. 'Seis' will be accessible to the public starting this weekend - located at 3rd Street and Poinsettia Place in Downtown Los Angeles.

Kings of Leon Schedule a Show at The Forum

In support of their new album When You See Yourself, Kings of Leon have announced an upcoming tour, which will also be coming to L.A. The band has scheduled an all-ages show at the Forum on Tuesday, September 21, with special guest Cold War Kids. Both bands will also be performing at Ohana Fest in Dana Point this year.
