As we previously announced, the indie dance act will be playing the second of three shows at El Rey Theatre with Luke Jenner Band and Ben White opening the show. Desus and Mero Live! at the Theatre at Ace Hotel

The Bodega Boys will be bringing their "God-Level Knowledge Darts Tour!" The Bronx's own Desus and Mero will be hitting the road in support of their upcoming book release God-Level Knowledge Darts: Life Lessons From the Bronx with a live tour date booked at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on Saturday, August 1, when they bring their hot takes to the Downtown Los Angeles venue.

Amoeba Hollywood's New Location Revealed

Be still our hearts, Scenestar readers. More proof that Amoeba Music will stay in our lives comes courtesy of the announcement of the future location of the iconic Los Angeles record store in a teaser video featuring local Grammy winner Tyler, The Creator. The store is set to open in Fall 2020 (Tentatively around Labor Day) on the corner of Hollywood and Argyle in the new “El Centro Hollywood” complex in Downtown Hollywood.

Happy first Monday of February 2020, Scenestar readers. We have a great act topping our list for Show of the Night this evening: Tycho! Scott Hansen, AKA Tycho, is back again to play another intimate show in support of his latest release Weather, at the Wiltern with Mild Minds. Tycho previously headlined the Greek Theatre in September of last year, with opener Chrome Sparks.

Caroline Polachek In-Store Set at Amoeba Music

The former member of the now-defunct duo Chairlift, Caroline Polachek has an in-store performance coming up! Besides her SOLD OUT show at the Fonda Theatre on Saturday, February 1, Caroline Polachek will also be playing for FREE when she takes the stage at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Monday, February 3. She will be playing in support of her latest release Pang.
