Coachella Announces 2016 Festival Dates

The wait is over, Scenestar readers! It's time to start planning for next year's Coachella, because dates and advanced onsale info have been released. Goldenvoice has revealed via Coachella's Facebook and Twitter that layaway passes and presales for Coachella 2016 will take place this week. Held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., Weekend 1 will take place from Friday, April 15, to Sunday, April 17; and Weekend 2 will be held from Friday, April 22, to Sunday, April 24.

FYF Fest SOLD OUT Of Single-Day Tickets

Did you buy your FYF Fest 2015 tickets yet, Scenestar readers? If you haven't, you might not want to wait too long because FYF Fest 2015 has SOLD OUT its single-day tickets! As recently announced, FYF Fest 2015 will feature headliners Frank Ocean on Saturday, August 22, and Morrissey on Sunday, August 23, as well as Alvvays, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Battles, Belle & Sebastian, Bloc Party, Broncho, Cold Cave, D'Angelo and the Vanguard, Death Grips, Deerhunter, Mac DeMarco, Dinosaur Jr., The Drums, Chet Faker, Flume, DJ Harvey, Health, Jon Hopkins, Tobias Jesso Jr., The Jesus and Mary Chain, FKA Twigs, Nicolas Jaar, Kaytranada, Lower Dens, Laura Marling, Melody's Echo Chamber, Neon Indian, Purity Ring, Run The Jewels, Savages, Shlohmo, Solange, Spiritualized, Tennis, Thee Oh Sees, Title Fight, Toro Y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and many more. Also, the festival, which will be held at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park, will feature a new layout to avoid some of last year's logistical problems.

Now that you're 100% recovered from this year's Coachella, it's time to start planning for next year, Scenestar readers! Goldenvoice has just announced via Coachella's Facebook and Twitter that layaway passes and presales for Coachella 2015 will take place this week. Held once again at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., Weekend 1 will take place on Friday, April 10, to Sunday, April 12; and Weekend 2 will be held Friday, April 17, to Sunday, April 19.

Coachella 2014 Advance Sale Now Over

We hope you made plans for next year's Coachella and bought your festival passes this weekend, because advance sales and layaway has ended for Coachella 2014. If you want to get passes for Weekend 1 on Friday, April 11, to Sunday, April 13 and/or Weekend 2 on Friday, April 18, to Sunday, April 20, more passes will go on sale next year via Frontgate. Travel packages that include weekend passes are still available now via Valley Music Travel. We'll keep you updated on any Coachella 2014 news when we get it, Scenestar readers!

And now we know what it means; Coachella 2014 dates have been released. Weekend 1 will take place on Friday, April 11, to Sunday, April 13. Weekend 2 will be held Friday, April 18, to Sunday, April 20.

Inaugural First City Festival Releases Lineup

Goldenvoice will kick off a new festival this summer in Northern California! Taking place at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center, the First City Festival will be held Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25. The lineup will include Akron/Family, The Antlers, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks (West Coast debut!), Beach House, The Black Angels, Bleached, Blitzen Trapper, Capital Cities, Civil Twilight, Deerhunter, Delta Rae, Delta Spirit, Devendra Banhart, The Dodos, Dr. Dog, Electric Guest, Eli “Paperboy” Reed, Father John Misty, Generationals, Guards, Guy Blakeslee (Entrance), The Hold Steady, Jeffertitti’s Nile, Light Fantastic, Lucero, MGMT, Modest Mouse, Neko Case, Okkervil River, Passion Pit, Purity Ring, Quadron, Seventeen Evergreen, Tennis, Toro y Moi, and Washed Out.

Coachella To Make Announcement Monday

It's that time again, Scenestar readers! It's time to speculate what Goldenvoice meant this morning on Coachella's Facebook and Twitter when they posted an image that simply read: "MONDAY 10AM PST." What could this mean? Another new festival layout? Another layaway plan? A third weekend? An early lineup announcement for Coachella 2014? A new festival? We'll see what surprise lies ahead next week when Coachella shares the news.
