We made it to the weekend, Scenestar readers. There are lots of great concert offerings, but we're giving our Show of the Night nod to one of our favorite events of the summer, FYF Fest 2016! Held this weekend at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park, FYF Fest 2016's Saturday lineup will feature headliners Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala as well as Air, DIIV, Explosions in the Sky, Floating Points, Alex G, Head Wound City, Hot Chip, Jagwar Ma, Junior Boys, Moby (DJ set), Museum of Love, Peter Bjorn & John, Ty Segall & The Muggers, Vince Staples, Todd Terje & the Olsens, Wolf Parade, and many more!

If you can't get in to our Show of the Night, your other music options include performances by The Aces, Band of Horses, Elvis Costello, Dash Berlin, Jackson Browne, Diane Coffee, Culture Club, Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan, Hasan Minhaj, Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam), and many more. KDAY'S Fresh Fest Returns To The Shrine

KDAY 93.5 FM will bring back its annual Fresh Fest! Scheduled to take place at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday, August 27, the all-ages event will feature performances by Tha Dogg Pound, E-40, N.O.R.E., DJ Quik, Rappin' 4-Tay, Suga Free, and Ying Yang Twins, among others.

Contest: KDAY'S Fresh Fest At The Shrine

This weekend KDAY 93.5 FM will host its annual Fresh Fest! Held at the Shrine Auditorium on Friday, September 25, the all-ages event will feature Ja Rule, Juvenile, Mystikal, Too $hort, and many more. E-40 Schedules A Date At The Observatory

Bay Area hip-hop legend E-40 has a pair of upcoming local shows! In addition to performing at 93.5 KDAY's Krush Groove on Saturday, April 18, at the Forum, E-40 also will headline an all-ages show at the Observatory on Wednesday, May 6, in support of his latest album series Sharp On All 4 Corners.
