It's almost time to say goodbye to August, but we'll say hello to more cool concert happenings, Scenestar readers! To top things off, we'll bid farewell to The Go-Go's, who takes our Show of the Night crown! "After a 38-year run, we are gearing up for one last blast of a summer tour," the band said in a statement, and this summer tour will include a hometown show at the Greek Theatre tonight, with openers Best Coast and Kaya Stewart. This is the last-ever scheduled performance for The Go-Go's.

Ty Segall Has Benefit Show For The Smell

After performing at FYF Fest 2016, Ty Segall has scheduled a show in support of DTLA venue The Smell! Performing tracks from latest release Emotional Mugger and more, Ty Segall will headline an all-ages show at the Teragram Ballroom on Saturday, September 10, to help save The Smell, which is set to be demolished. Also performing at this benefit show will be Beach Bums, Clit Kat, Kuromi, No Parents, and Pity Party.

Rae Sremmurd To Perform Show At The Novo

FYF Fest 2016 act Rae Sremmurd has scheduled two upcoming shows this November! The hip-hop duo will perform at The Novo by Microsoft on Monday, November 14, and the Observatory on Tuesday, November 15, with special guest Lil Yachty.

Following the weekend's FYF Fest 2016 and Ohana Dana Point 2016, August has been a busy month of music festivals, Scenestar readers.
