Contest: Johnny Ramone Tribute at Hollywood Forever

One of our favorite summer events is coming back this weekend! Hollywood Forever Cemetery will celebrate Johnny Ramone once again with a screening of the 1979 cult classic 'The Warriors,' which is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its release on Sunday, August 11. Fred Armisen, Steve Jones, Starcrawler, and more will be on hand as part of the celebration. You can too by entering our contest to attend the event this year!

Melanie Martinez to Play at Hollywood Palladium

Singer-songwriter Melanie Martinez is back with a new album and North American tour. Performing in support of upcoming release K-12, Melanie Martinez will play a pair of local tour dates at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, November 9, and at House of Blues Anaheim on Sunday, November 10. K-12 will be released as a film and album on September 6.

Contest: Harry and the Potters at the Troubadour

Get ready to get your wizard rock on with Massachusettes-based duo Harry and the Potters. Brothers Paul and Joe DeGeorge will be bringing Harry and the Potters to the Troubadour on Tuesday, July 30, with Hannah Moroz opening at the West Hollywood venue. We're giving our readers the opportunity to attend courtesy of a ticket giveaway for this show!

Another weekend has come and gone, Scenestar readers. We're wrapping things up by heading back to Hollywood to indulge in the sounds of our Show of the Night pick: Mexican pop singer Natalia Lafourcade! The award-winning singer-songwriter will headline an all-ages tour date tonight at the Hollywood Bowl and will be joined by maestro Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Madeleine Brand of KCRW will be the host.

The Music. The Show” tour. Hugh Jackman will be performing hit songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, and more from Broadway and film, accompanied by a live orchestra and special guest Keala Settle.

Madonna: Eleven Shows at the Wiltern Theatre

Madonna has added more Madame X tour dates here in Los Angeles! The legendary pop artist had previously scheduled multiple dates at the Wiltern on Tuesday, November 12; Wednesday, November 13; Thursday, November 14; Saturday, November 16; Sunday; November 17; Thursday, November 21; Saturday, November 23; Sunday, November 24, and Monday, November 25. Due to popular demand, you can also see Madonna live on Tuesday, November 19, and Wednesday, November 20. 'Detective Pikachu' DJ Diplo will open for all eleven of her shows.

Aziz Ansari to Perform at the Pasadena Civic

We have more local dates featuring comedian Aziz Ansari! His "Road to Nowhere" tour sold out multiple dates at the Orpheum Theatre in February, but now has chosen to book upcoming shows at Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside on Sunday, June 23; Terrace Theater in Long Beach on Monday, June 24; Tuesday, June 25, at the Pasadena Civic; and Wednesday, June 26, at Oxnard Performing Arts Center.
