Tornillo Returns to Headline a Show at El Rey

One of our favorite up-and-coming rappers is finally embarking on his first-ever U.S. tour! After opening for Santa Fe Klan earlier this year, San Luis Potosi's own Tornillo has his eyes set on making some local stops here as he's scheduled shows at the Observatory in Santa Ana on Thursday, February 15; Ventura Music Hall on Friday, March 22, and in Los Angeles at El Rey Theatre on Saturday, March 23.

Fellow Mexican rapper Dharius will be opening the show.

Fever Ray is back! Following their set at Just Like Heaven 2023, Karin Dreijer returns with Fever Ray this week as they're set to headline the Wiltern on Tuesday, November 7, and Wednesday, November 8, in support of their third full-length release Radical Romantics. Christeene will be opening both shows.

Fred Again... DJ Set at Shrine Expo Hall

Coachella 2023 co-headliner replacement Fred Again... isn't done quite yet, Scenestar readers! As we previously reported, the British electronic producer headlined eight 18+ live shows at Shrine Expo Hall that just wrapped up on Thursday, November 2. Now he's back one last time for a DJ set scheduled for tonight (Friday, November 3)!

KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas at Kia Forum

It's time to get ready once again for the return of KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas! The 32nd edition of this holiday alternative rock staple is back again at the Kia Forum on Saturday, December 10, with a lineup that includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Garbage, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers, Cannons, Lovejoy, Bakar, and The Beaches.

Contest: Kings of Convenience at the Fonda

It's Kings of Convenience week in Los Angeles, Scenestar readers! As we previously reported, Kings of Convenience will be making a rare appearance courtesy of a series of headlining shows at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, November 2; Friday, November 3; and Saturday, November 4.

The Kills Will Be Returning to Play at the Wiltern

Alternative rock legends The Kills will be embarking on a North American tour next year! The duo will bring their "God Games Tour" to Los Angeles when they return on Thursday, March 14, to headline the Wiltern in Koreatown.

Fans in Orange County can see The Kills kick off their tour in Santa Ana on Friday, February 2, at the Observatory.

Contest: Dia De Los Muertos at Hollywood Forever

One of our favorite events will be returning to Hollywood Forever Cemetery! Back for its 24th year, the Dia De Los Muertos celebration will be held once again at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday, October 28, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for the Dia de los Muertos portion with performances by DannyLux and Irene Diaz.

The Noche de los Muertos portion of the celebration will also take place on Saturday, October 28, from 5:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. with performances by Bomba Estereo, Bratty, Camila Hernandez, and Banda Las Angelinas. Check out the full lineup for both events here.

Blink-182 Schedule a Show at SoFi Stadium

Another Coachella 2023 headliner will be returning to Los Angeles, Scenestar readers! Iconic San Diego alternative rock legends Blink-182 will be coming back into town next year when they play in support of their latest release, One More Time, at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, July 6. Pierce The Veil will be their scheduled opener.
