Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) At Nokia Theatre

For those of you who missed seeing Yusuf Islam, AKA Cat Stevens, at El Rey Theatre in 2009, the legendary musician will be back in Los Angeles for his first ticketed show in 38 years! (The 2009 show was a private show in which you had to win entry.) In support of his newest release Tell 'Em I'm Gone, Yusuf Islam will headline an all-ages show at Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live on Sunday, December 14.

Head Wound City To Perform At The Smell

In addition to a set at BEDROCKtoberfest 2014, Head Wound City—the supergroup comprised of Nick Zinner; Jordan Blilie and Cody Votolato of The Blood Brothers; and Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian of The Locust—also will perform at The Smell on Sunday, Sept. 21! Black Kids Return For Show At Bootleg HiFi

It has been awhile—about six years!—but Black Kids will be back in town this summer! After a short East Coast tour last year, the Partie Traumatic band will hit the road once again, scheduling a 21+ headlining show at the Bootleg HiFi on Friday, August 15. Tickets for this show are on sale now via the venue's website for $10.00 each plus service fees.

The recently reunited hip hop group Jurassic 5 will celebrate its 20th anniversary with the Word of Mouth Tour, which will include a show at the Greek Theatre on Saturday, July 12! Fleetwood Mac To Headline The Forum

After performing several local shows last summer, Fleetwood Mac will go "on with the show" at the end of this year! The reunited band, who will also feature keyboardist and singer Christine McVie, will headline the recently renovated Forum in Inglewood on Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29. Tickets for these all-ages shows will go on sale Monday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $49.50 to $199.50 each plus service fees. Rodriguez Headlines Luckman Arts Complex

Another Coachella 2013 act has scheduled a show in Los Angeles next year! The star of the Academy Award-winning documentary film Searching For Sugarman, Sixto Rodriguez will perform live at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex on Saturday, May 31.

"Old School Reunion" Booked At Nokia Theatre

If you would like to enjoy some classic acts from the past, Los Angeles's old school music station HOT 92.3 FM will host the Old School Reunion! This upcoming concert will feature Vanilla Ice, Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, Biz Markie, Color Me Badd, and Debbie Deb, among others.
