Set Times: Just Like Heaven 2024 at Rose Bowl

Festival season continues once again in Pasadena as we start to plan out our day at Brookside at the Rose Bowl, thanks to set times being released for Just Like Heaven 2024 courtesy of Goldenvoice!

As we previously announced, Just Like Heaven will be back again on Saturday, May 18, with a lineup that includes headlining sets by The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie – celebrating the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed, respective albums Give Up and Transatlanticism, alongside Phoenix, The War on Drugs, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, Alvvays, Two Door Cinema Club, Phantogram, Metric, Gossip, Tegan and Sara, Washed Out, Broken Social Scene, Sleigh Bells, CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy), Be Your Own Pet, The Go! Team, and A Club Called Rhonda DJ’s.

Here we go with a ton of new concerts to check out this week, Scenestar readers. The biggest one of all comes courtesy of a hometown reunion by our pick for Show of the Night: Dogstar! In their first Los Angeles headlining show since 1999, alternative rock band, Dogstar will bring the reunited trio consisting of Keanu Reeves, Robert Mailhouse, and Bret Domrose to The Roxy on tonight with opener Archer Oh. This is Dogstar's first headlining show following their reunion set at BottleRock Napa Valley 2023.

Wednesday is also stacked with concert options, Scenestar readers. Another epic tour date has made it to the top as our Show of the Night: Roger Waters! Back again for the first time since 2017, the legendary Pink Floyd co-founder will bring his rescheduled "This Is Not a Drill" North America Tour to Crypto.com Arena tonight, Fans can also travel to Las Vegas to see him on Saturday, October 1, at T-Mobile Arena.

The Bravery to Reunite After Seven Years

For those of you wanting to get your indie rock nostalgia of the aughts on, The Bravery is ready to provide it this year! The band has announced they will be reuniting in some form via their social media platforms and on their website. There's no word yet on any official plans on releasing new music or embarking on a North American tour. This is the New York indie rock act's first news about getting back together in seven years.

Bright Eyes Cancel Their Los Angeles Tour Dates

We have some bad news for Bright Eyes in and around Los Angeles. Those hoping to see their upcoming reunion tour in support of Down in the Weeds Where the World Once Was will probably have to wait until next year to possibly see Conor Oberst and the gang after they announced that they canceled their three shows at the Hollywood Palladium and their show farther north of Los Angeles at the Santa Barbara Bowl next month.

The The Returns to Headline Ford Theatres

The The is back! As part of the 2018 Comeback Special, the U.K. New Wave band has announced their first North American tour in 18 years, including an L.A. show at the Ford Theatres on Monday, September 24. Tickets for this show will go on sale Friday, April 6, at 12 p.m. via Ticketmaster for $65 to $85 each plus service fees.

Jeff Lynne Brings ELO To The Fonda Theatre

Jeff Lynne is bringing back Electric Light Orchestra! Now known as Jeff Lynne's ELO, the band will tour in support of their first new album in 15 years, Alone in the Universe, which will be released November 13. For fans eager to hear the new songs live, Jeff Lynne's ELO has scheduled an all-ages show at the Fonda Theatre on Tuesday, November 24.

Welcome to the first weekend of May, Scenestar readers. There are lots of concert options tonight, but we're going with the long-awaited return of one of our favorite bands: The Decemberists, our Show of the Night! The Portland, Ore., indie rockers are back for the first time since 2011, performing with opener Lucius at the Greek Theatre tonight, in support of new album What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World.
