Contest: Wallows at the Shrine Expo Hall

Coachella 2022 act Wallows will be playing the first of two shows in LA this weekend! The Los Angeles-based indie rock act Wallows will be starting with a headlining show at Shrine Expo Hall on Sunday, September 25, with opener Wallice and Thursday, September 29, with opener Samia. You can also see Wallows live at the Greek Theatre on Wednesday, September 28, with opener Samia. The tour date is in support of their latest album release Tell Me That It's Over.

Danny Elfman: Two Shows at the Hollywood Bowl

One of the most memorable performances at Coachella 2022 involved the outdoor stage set by Danny Elfman. Now fans that couldn't make it to Indio can head to Hollywood instead to experience Danny Elfman perform songs from the Oingo Boingo music catalog, solo album, tracks from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, the Simpsons, and more at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29.

The event is back with a full orchestra and choir performing with Danny Elfman. Boy Harsher is the scheduled opener.

Surf Curse to Headline the Hollywood Palladium

Surf Curse are following up their sets at Coachella 2022 and Primavera Sound LA 2022 with their own local tour date! The indie rock band will be playing a set at this year's edition of Primavera Sound LA at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Saturday, September 17, but will be following that up with a show of their own at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, December 17.

Rina Sawayama: Two Shows at the Palladium

Back again in Los Angeles this "Showvember" is none other than Japanese singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama! The London-based artist will bring her upcoming "Hold The Girl Tour" into town on Saturday, November 19, and Wednesday, November 23, when she performs live at the Hollywood Palladium. She recently performed live in Indio at Coachella 2022 and has an intimate performance scheduled at the Grammy Museum on Tuesday, August 9.

Orville Peck 4th Annual Rodeo at the Greek

We have another Coachella 2022 performer ready to take the stage this fall! This time it's Orville Peck that's hitting the road again with a tour stop at the Greek Theatre on Wednesday, November 2, as part of his "4th Annual Rodeo." Joining Orville Peck are openers Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway and Vincent Neil Emerson.

Carly Rae Jepsen to Play at the Greek Theatre

Another Coachella 2022 back is set to return this "Rocktober!" Carly Rae Jepsen is returning to play at one of our favorite outdoor venues in Los Angeles when she takes the stage in support of Dedicated at the Greek Theatre on Tuesday, October 18, with opener Empress Of. You can also see them in Santa Barbara when they perform at the Arlington Theatre on Thursday, October 20.

Ed Maverick Also Playing at the Fonda Theatre

We just can't get enough of Ed Maverick, Scenestar readers! Besides his previously announced shows at the Glass House on Wednesday, June 22, and Thursday, June 23, Ed Maverick will play another show in support of his debut album release, Eduardo, at the Fonda Theatre on Saturday, June 25.

Ed Maverick was previously scheduled to play a festival set at Viva L.A. 2022 on Saturday, June 25.

Aespa Book Their L.A. Debut at YouTube Theater

Another Coachella 2022 "surprise guest" has announced a local show this month! This time it's South Korean quartet Aespa is bringing the dance party to Inglewood! The up-and-coming K-pop act has chosen to headline YouTube Theater on Sunday, June 26, and Monday, June 27, as part of a unique "Showcase SYNK in LA" interactive fan event featuring a live performance by Aespa along with a Q&A, games, and more.
