Motorhead To Perform At The Shrine Expo Hall

Motorhead will celebrate their 40th anniversary this year! And what better way to celebrate than to go on tour! The English rock band, who will release new album Bad Magic on August 28, has announced an all-ages show at the Shrine Expo Hall on Saturday, August 22, with openers Saxon and Crobot.

Video - The Afghan Whigs "The Lottery"

The Afghan Whigs recently released a new music video for single "The Lottery," off of most recent release Do to the Beast, which is out now via Sub Pop. Regarding the video, Greg Dulli writes: "Meet Ryan O'Hara, our monitor engineer and cougar magnet. He wakes up everyday with a smile on his face and something positive to share with you. Every night during the gig he performs a parallel show behind the board and it's phenomenal to watch. Occasionally, I'll forget to sing because I'm watching him turn into Bez from Happy Mondays. But that's rock and roll for you. It keeps you young."

We did it, Scenestar readers! We made it through another year of amazing concerts and musical happenings in our fair city of Los Angeles. We're hoping for more great things in 2015, but for now, we will look back at 2014—including amazing live concerts, moments captured on film, and impressive album releases. Music Video - GOAT "Hide From The Sun"

Swedish psych-rock band GOAT recently released a new music video for single "Hide From the Sun," from current release Commune. Back in April, GOAT had a pre-Coachella date at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace before also performing at the Indio, Calif., festival. GOAT currently does not have any upcoming local shows, but we'll keep you posted, Scenestar readers!

Chvrches To Play The Hollywood Palladium

Guess who just got added to the local concert calendar?! After recently performing at Coachella 2014, Scottish electro-pop trio Chvrches will come back to California this fall, in support of current release The Bones Of What You Believe. Chvrches will move up the Los Angeles venue chain to perform their biggest show here yet—headlining the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, Sept. 19.

New Music Video - Washed Out "Weightless"

Washed Out recently released a new music video for "Weightless," a track from newest release Paracosm, which is out now via Weird World Record Company and Sub Pop. After performing at Coachella 2014, Washed Out currently does not have any upcoming shows. We'll keep you posted on the next time Washed Out has a Los Angeles show, Scenestar readers!

Temples Return To Play At Fonda Theatre

Coachella 2014 act Temples will be in town this fall! After performing at the festival, the Constellation Room, and The Roxy earlier this year, Temples will return to headline an all-ages show at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, Sept. 25, with opener Wampire.

New Music Video - Broken Bells "Control"

Broken Bells recently released a new music video for single "Control," from latest album After the Disco. The video was filmed at the Fonda Theatre, where they performed a headlining show in April. Currently, Broken Bells does not have any local shows scheduled, but we'll keep you posted when we hear of any, Scenestar readers!
