The 2017 edition of the Pitchfork Music Festival will be held at Union Park in Chicago from Friday, July 14, to Sunday, July 16. This year's headliners are LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, and Solange. Others scheduled to perform include The Avalanches, Danny Brown, Dirty Projectors, Francis and the Lights, Thurston Moore Group, PJ Harvey, Angel Olsen, Arab Strap, Nicolas Jaar, Ride, Hamilton Leithauser, Hiss Golden Messenger, Vince Staples, American Football, Cherry Glazerr, Isaiah Rashad, and many more. The ninth annual Pitchfork Music Festival at Union Park in Chicago has come and gone. The weekend featured another strong lineup with carefully selected, diverse artists representing a glimpse into the future musical landscape—along with a few throwbacks. One of the best things about the weekend was the weather. This time of summer has burdened the festival for the last few years, especially the previous, which was marred by torrential rain, an evacuation of the park, and extreme heat. This year, however, attendees were treated to perfectly blue skies and very agreeable temperatures on all three days. This in turn made all of the performances that much more enjoyable. Here are some highlights of the weekend.
