Sid The Cat “I Love LA” Eaton Fire Relief Concert

The LA Fire Relief concerts keep on coming, Scenestar readers. This time is beloved Los Angeles independent concert promoter Sid The Cat to the rescue when they host Andrew Bird, Bright Eyes, David Longstreth (of Dirty Projectors), Delicate Steve, Ethan Tasch, Jim James (of My Morning Jacket), Kelcey Ayer (of Local Natives), Kevin Morby, Lucius, Madison Cunningham, Milk Carton Kids, Molly Burch, Sara and Sean Watkins (of Watkins Family Hour), Strawberry Guy, Uwade, and special guests at Glendale Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 8.

TV Girl LA Fire Benefit Show at the Bellwether

We have another show coming up to benefit Los Angelinos affected by the LA Fires courtesy of TV Girl! The Bellwether will be the place to be when TV Girl takes the stage at the Downtown Los Angeles venue with openers Pearl & The Oysters and Jordana on Thursday, February 13.

Jamie XX LA Fire Benefit Show at the Shrine

Jamie XX is also doing his part while in town to help those affected by the LA Fires. As we previously announced, Jamie XX of The XX had already scheduled a pair of 18+ shows at Shrine Expo Hall on Thursday, January 23, and Friday, January 24.

Now the British producer will be adding an additional all-ages matinee show to raise funds on Friday, January 24, at 3:30pm at Shrine Expo Hall, as part of his "LA Fundraiser - Benefit For Wildfire Victims."

All proceeds will go towards California Fire Foundation, Extreme Weather Survivors, & ClientEarth.

"For Los Angeles" Benefit Show at Troubadour

We have another great benefit show to look forward to, Scenestar readers. "For Los Angeles" a benefit for those impacted by the wildfires will be taking place on Wednesday, January 22, at the Troubadour in West Hollywood with a lineup that will feature stripped-back performances by Annika Bennett, Cannons, Local Natives, Lydia Night, Madison Cunningham, Medium Build, Olivia O’Brien, Phantom Planet, Winnetka Bowling League, and other special guests.

Proceeds from the show will go directly to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund and Pasadena Community Foundation’s Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. You can also stream the concert for FREE here with a donation option courtesy of Volume.

Shows of the Night: Thursday, January 16th

We want to keep things upbeat tonight, Scenestar readers. There are even more concerts raising funds for those affected and other fun stuff to keep you in high spirits this Thursday including our Show of the Night: Jersey. The French electronic duo consisting of brothers Carl and Renaud aka Jersey will be headlining an 18+ show tonight at the Fonda Theatre as part of their current "Please, Don't Break Our New Synths World Tour." Covex will be opening the show.

We hope the start of your week is going better than usual, Scenestar readers. Los Angeles is still facing high winds and recovering from last week's fires, but the fundraisers keep popping up courtesy of our Show of the Night: Monday Monday! A weekly curated showcase of the best singers and songwriters in the LA music scene at the Hotel Cafe's 2nd Stage will not only be celebrating the 12th anniversary of their 21+ Hollywood residency tonight but also raising funds to help in the recovery of the L.A. fires. The Monday Monday lineup includes performances by Kalie Shorr, Francis Blume, Mike Vitale, Angel Taylor, Chris Vos, Jadea Kelly, Shane Alexander, Rosa Pullman, Ben Matin, and Joel Eckels. Proceeds will benefit the fire victims in our music community.

We're still not out of it quite yet, Scenestar readers. Los Angeles is still affected by the fires and a lot of concert options have dwindled, but if you need music as a temporary relief, you can check out our Show of the Night: Lee Fields. After careful consideration, the soul singer will still be taking the stage tonight at the Fonda Theatre with Bay Area neo-psychedelic soul band Monophonics co-headling the show. Proceeds for merchandise sales will benefit Music Cares to help musicians affected by the fires.

You can also see Lee Fields perform in support of his latest release, Sentimental Soul, at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace on Thursday, January 16.

FireAid Benefit at Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum

Some of the biggest promoters in the city will be teaming up for a benefit concert to help the city of Los Angeles in its time of need! The Clippers have offered up the Intuit Dome on Thursday, January 30, starting at 7:30 p.m. PST and the Kia Forum on Thursday, January 30, starting at 6 p.m. PST in Inglewood to host a benefit show, FireAid, on Thursday, January 30, with funds to be dedicated to helping rebuild communities devastated by wildfires and supporting efforts to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California.

FireAid, an evening of music and solidarity, is currently putting together a lineup that includes Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, No Doubt, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae, Anderson .Paak, Alanis Morissette, Dawes, Graham Nash, John Fogerty, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Stevie Wonder, The Black Crowes, and performing together for the first time, Dave Matthews and John Mayer.
