Contest: Refused at the Shrine Expo Hall

One tour we're looking forward to and sad about at the same time is the final return of Swedish hardcore punk band Refused! As we previously announced, Refused will be calling it quits, but will also be making a tour stop in Los Angeles when they headline one last show here at Shrine Expo Hall on Friday, March 28, with opener Quicksand, Refused as part of their "Refused are F*cking Dead Tour."

We're going to give you one last chance to see Refused as well courtesy of our contest for a pair of tickets to their upcoming show!

CSS Anniversary Show at the Regent Theater

One of our favorite bands from the "Indie Sleaze" era will be in town for possibly their last Los Angeles-area tour date in a very long time! Brazilian indie rock band CSS aka Cansei De Ser Sexy will be playing tracks from their self-titled release as part of the album's 20th anniversary at the Regent Theater on Sunday, January 19.

The band was in Los Angeles last year to play a set at Just Like Heaven 2024 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl.

Tokyo Police Club Farewell Shows at the Regent

One of our favorite indie rock bands is calling it quits, but will be giving their fans to say goodbye courtesy of a farewell tour! "The Final Tour" will bring Toyko Police Club and opener Born Ruffians will be playing a pair of shows at the Regent Theater on Wednesday, September 25, and Thursday, September 26.

You can also see Tokyo Police Club live in Santa Ana at the Observatory on Tuesday, September 24.

Contest: Stiff Little Fingers at the Fonda Theatre

Get ready to welcome back influential Irish rockers Stiff Little Fingers next week! On the road for their last coast-to-coast US tour, Stiff Little Fingers will perform their hits and more for maybe the last time in Los Angeles at the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, May 22, before heading south to Santa Ana to headline the Observatory on Sunday, May 26. Fans in Ventura can see Stiff Little Fingers at the Majestic Ventura Theater on Thursday, May 23. Fellow Irishman Ricky Warwick opens all three shows.

Skinny Puppy: Three Shows at the Belasco

Vancouver's electro-industrial music pioneers Skinny Puppy is embarking on one last tour! Their "Skinny Puppy: Final Tour" farewell tour already has Skinny Puppy tour dates scheduled to take place at The Belasco in Downtown Los Angeles on Monday, December 4, and Tuesday, December 5, with Paul Barker's (formerly of Ministry) Lead Into Gold opening these shows.

Now a third show at The Belasco has been added on Saturday, December 2.

Devo Farewell Tour Date at YouTube Theater

One of our favorite acts is calling it quits, Scenestar readers. Legendary alternative rock act Devo will be calling it quits after 50 years after "The Farewell Tour" brings them to YouTube Theater on Thursday, November 16. You can also see Devo one last time at Darker Waves at City Beach in Huntington Park on Saturday, November 18.
