Kanye West & Drake to Team Up at the Coliseum

The long-standing feud between Ye (fka Kanye West) and Drake! They are squashing their beef for a cause when they co-headline a show at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, December 9, as part of the "Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert," to raise awareness and support for Larry Hoover and the cause of prison and sentencing reform. Larry Hoover is the co-founder of Chicago's Gangster Disciples.

Global Citizen Concert at the Greek Theatre

Global Citizen is back again with another star-studded lineup! This time instead of having the concert at SoFi Stadium, Global Citizen has chosen a much more intimate venue when they bring their Global Citizen Live event to the Greek Theatre on Saturday, September 25, as part of their 24-hour global concert. The Los Angeles edition will include performances by Stevie Wonder, Adam Lambert, Chloe x Halle, Demi Lovato, H.E.R., OneRepublic, Ozuna, The Lumineers, and 5 Seconds of Summer.

November is finally here, Scenestar readers! Time is flying by and we're ready to kick off this "Showvember" with our selection for Show of the Night: Morrissey! The former Smiths frontman will be spending Dia de los Muertos with us here in "MozAngeles" with opener Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at Microsoft Theater tonight in support of latest release Low in High School. You can also see Morrissey perform a set at Tropicália Music & Taco Festival which is taking place on Saturday, November 3, and Sunday, November 4, at Queen Mary Events Park with fellow headliner Cardi B.

Cut Copy Reveal Lost Track "Ocean Blue"

Cut Copy revealed an unreleased song today called "Ocean Blue." The band wrote and recorded it along with the tracks on their latest album "Haiku From Zero" but didn't make it onto the album, however, we sure are glad it's now seeing the light of day!

New Music Video: Chris Cornell "The Promise"

Chris Cornell's music video for his song "The Promise" was released today by Survival Pictures. "The Promise" was Cornell's last release prior to his passing and is part of World Refugee Day and was directed by Meiert Avis. The song was meant to shine a light on the Armenian Genocide and the human rights crises of modern times, but they will also inspire people and provide hope for years to come.

Audioslave and Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell passed away on May 18 after a performance at the Fox Theater in Detroit and is buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
