We made it, Scenestar readers! Friday is here and to celebrate, we're headed out to see our Show of the Night selection: Dabin! The Canadian electronic producer is on tour in support of his latest release Between Broken and will play an 18+ show tonight at Shrine Expo Hall. Joining Dabin will be openers Rome In Silver and Skybreak. Dabin will also be playing a late set at Avalon Hollywood after his show.

REFORM Labor Day Weekend at Catch One

One of our favorite 21+ dance music events returns later this year! REFORM will be back on Labor Day weekend by taking over Catch One on Sunday, September 5, with a day portion starting at 5 p.m. that's spread out between four rooms and includes sets by Danny Tenaglia, Josh Wink, Headless Horseman, Rrose, Annika Wolfe, Baseck (Live), Deru (Live), DJ Hyperactive B2B Truncate, Jeniluv, Kindohm (Live), Lauren Flax, Monsieur Frazier, Ønyx b2b Insical, Richard Devine (Live), Sentence (Drumcell & Surachai), and Trovarsi. The room will also feature visuals by OKTAform, one of the leading electronic music VJs in the world.

A REFORM afterparty will also be taking place starting at midnight with sets by Berndt, DVS1, Lindsey Herbert, & Lonefront at a secret location for Catch One attendees that also purchased the option to keep the party going.

Splash House Palm Springs Returns This August

Splash House Palm Springs is ready to bring back its annual 21+ pool party and music festival this August! Taking place over two weekends from Friday, August 13, to Sunday, August 15, and Friday, August 20, to Sunday, August 23, the three-day festival will feature performances by dance acts with the lineup being announced soon.

The venues for Splash House consist of The Renaissance, Margaritaville Palm Springs, and The Saguaro Palm Springs. All three venues are within two miles of each other and are connected via their Splash House shuttles running throughout the weekend. After Hours is located at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

BUY TICKETS: Moby at the Wiltern

The weekend is right around the corner, Scenestar readers. Let's celebrate early and for a great cause with our top pick for Show of the Night: Moby! Adopt The Arts will be honoring Moby this year with a live show featuring the legendary musician at the Wiltern tonight where he will be performing his hits and tracks from his latest release, Everything Was Beautiful, and Nothing Hurt. Joining Moby will be The Crystal Method, Kate Nash, and artist Shepard Fairey will DJ the after party following the event. Proceeds from the concert will go to ATA to support their mission, schools, teachers, and curriculum.

Hot Chip Add a Date at Pappy & Harriet's

The Hot Chip dance party is moving to one of our favorite venues! Besides their recently announced tour date at El Rey Theatre, the English electronic act will also be performing at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace on Thursday, May 2. Their live set also includes an option to purchase a pass for an afterparty where the band will DJ a set after their show.

BUY TICKETS: I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell at the Forum

Here we go with more concert options, Scenestar readers. This time an amazing tribute to a legendary artist takes the title of Show of the Night: 'I Am The Highway!' A tribute to Chris Cornell, will take place on tonight, at The Forum in Inglewood. The event will feature performances from the members of Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog, and Audioslave, plus performances scheduled by Foo Fighters, Metallica, Ryan Adams, and many more. The event will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Chris Cornell passed away in May 18, 2017 while on tour in Detroit.

Following the third annual One Love Cali Reggae Festival, held this weekend in Long Beach, Lauryn Hill has announced an afterparty at the Observatory in Santa Ana on Sunday, February 11!

Famed director David Lynch is bringing back his Festival of Disruption for a second year! Taking place again at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on Saturday, October 14, and Sunday, October 15, David Lynch has once again handpicked some of his favorite artists to perform, including Bon Iver, Sharon Van Etten, The Kills, Laura Marling, Moby, TV On The Radio, and Reggie Watts. There also will be talks with Gary D'Amico, Pete Holmes, Dean Hurley, Sheryl Lee, Kristine McKenna, Bill Pullman, Johanna Ray, Ed Ruscha, among others. There will also be exhibits and meditation at the festival.
