Let's get ready to wrap things up, Scenestar readers! We're headed back down to Long Beach for our back-to-back Show of the Night selection: Tropicália Music & Taco Festival! The second edition of this festival is back for one last day of live music this Sunday at Queen Mary Events Park with performances by Boy Pablo, Chicano Batman, Clairo, Mon Laferte, Mac DeMarco, The Marias, Porter, La Sonora Dinamita, Surf Curse, and many more.

If you can't get in to our Show of the Night, your other music options include performances by Beastie Boys, Clan of Xymox, Cold War Kids, Gus Dapperton, Eric B. & Rakim, Kero Kero Bonito, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Peach Pit, Public Image LTD, The Struts, and many more. Also, tonight is residency night in Los Angeles, so if you're 21 and over, there's a bunch of FREE shows by local bands that you can check out. 91X Wrex The Halls Reveals Night One Lineup

As reported earlier, San Diego radio station 91X had announced its annual holiday concert Wrex the Halls on Saturday, December 9, at the Valley View Casino Center, featuring performances by The Lumineers, Arkells, DREAMCAR, Vance Joy, and The War on Drugs. And now, another night has been added, on Friday, December 8, featuring Rise Against, Run the Jewels, The Used, The Struts, Highly Suspect, and Buckfast Superbee.

91X Wrex The Halls Reveals 2017 Lineup

San Diego radio station 91X has announced the 2017 lineup for its annual holiday concert Wrex the Halls! The two-day concert will now be held on one day—Saturday, December 9—at the Valley View Casino Center, with The Lumineers as the headliner. Also on the bill are Arkells, DREAMCAR, Vance Joy, and The War on Drugs.

BUY TICKETS: KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas 2016 at the Forum

Another weekend just flew right by, Scenestar readers. Don't let that stop you from rocking out at our Show of the Night selection, KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas! The 27th edition of KROQ's annual holiday concert will take place at the Forum tonight with Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Bastille, Beck, Bishop Briggs, Green Day, The Head and the Heart, Phantogram, and Weezer.

Contest: Band Of Horses At The Fox Theater

As previously reported, Band of Horses will perform a local show next week! Before heading to 91X's WREX the Halls on Saturday, December 10, at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, Band of Horses will headline the Fox Theater in Pomona on Friday, December 9, in support of latest release Why Are You OK. If you would like to attend this show, with local favorites Warpaint, you can enter to win our contest for tickets to the show!

Band Of Horses Will Perform At Fox Theater

In support of latest release Why Are You OK, Band of Horses will be in town next month! Following a set at this summer's Ohana Fest 2016 and a show at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, Band of Horses will perform at the Fox Theater in Pomona on Friday, December 9. Tickets for this newly announced show will go on sale today, November 7, at 5:00 p.m. via AXS for $29.50 to $39.50 each plus service fees.

Beck To Headline 91X Wrex The Halls Lineup

San Diego radio station 91X has announced the 2016 lineup for its annual holiday concert Wrex the Halls! The two-day concert will be held at the Valley View Casino Center on Saturday, December 10, with Beck headlining, and Sunday, December 11, with Blink-182 as the headliner. Also on the bill are Band of Horses, Local Natives, Glass Animals, and Bishop Briggs for Night One. Night Two will feature Pierce the Veil, Jimmy Eat World, and Kaleo.

Presale: Morrissey At UCI Bren Events Center

As previously reported, Morrissey will return to Southern California in November! If you missed his New Year's Eve show or his headlining set at FYF Fest 2015, you can catch Morrissey live on his fall U.S. 2016 tour, which includes an all-ages show at the UCI Bren Events Center in Irvine on Wednesday, November 9.
