We have a great weekend of shows coming to The Broad in Downtown Los Angeles, Scenestar readers! Summer Concerts at The Broad returns to the East West Bank Plaza with a pair of cool options for you to check out!
First, there's a tribute to J. Dilla on Friday, July 19, at 8 p.m. PT called "Dilla's House" featuring artists who knew and worked with J. Dilla, led by Detroit’s Moodymann, Dames Brown, Dez Andrés, Mark de Clive-Lowe, DJ Ashley Younniä; & DJ Rashida to close out the night. The evening will be hosted by The Yancey Boys aka Illa J + Frank Nitt and is co-curated by Mahogani Music and Fusicology.
Then on Saturday, July 20, at 8 p.m. PT, the museum celebrates their special exhibition: "Mickalene Thomas: All About Love", with performances by Flo Milli, Fousheé, and Mette.
We're giving our readers to attend either of the two shows courtesy of our contest for a pair of tickets to the concert of your choice!
Be sure to check your spam folder to see if you got a reply from us that you won our contest.
