British electronic music composer Floating Points will be back this week to debut one of their most acclaimed album releases! Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points will be performing Promises in full for the first time ever on Wednesday, September 20, at the Hollywood Bowl with an all-star line-up handpicked, in part, by album collaborator Pharoah Sanders himself. This includes conductor Miguel Atwood-Ferguson with Shabaka Hutchings, Kara-Lis Coverdale, John Escreet, Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet, Jeffrey Makinson, Hinako Omori, Lara Serafin, Dan Snaith aka Caribou, The Los Angeles Studio Orchestra, and Sun Ra Arkestra.
