Back on tour in support of their latest release, Music of the Sphere, Coldplay has announced a West Coast tour! If you missed them last year at SoFi Stadium because of their show postponement, you could head to Pasadena instead to see the U.K. band live when they headline a rescheduled all-ages show at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, September 30, and an additional tour date on Sunday, October 1. Joining Coldplay will be openers H.E.R. and 070 Shake.
Tickets for the Rose Bowl show will go on sale Friday, January 27, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. There is a presale for fans that have purchased tickets in the past on Thursday, January 26, at 10 a.m. Get more info on the presale here.
Coldplay will also be making their $20 Infinity Ticket Program available for the west coast shows, which will go on sale at a later date. Here’s how the $20 Infinity Tickets work. They must be bought in pairs (each $20-ticket purchaser is restricted to just that pair), and the catch is that you don’t know where in the stadium your seats will be. Ticket locations will be selected at random, and you don’t find out where you’re sitting until you pick the tickets up the day of the show. Will you be up in the nosebleeds? Will you be just a couple of feet away from the stage? Who knows? Either way, you get to be there for $20.
