Here we go, Scenestar readers! It's almost time to get your tickets for this year's showcase of great concerts under the stars. As we previously announced, the Hollywood Bowl will be celebrating its 100th summer season courtesy of the Los Angeles Philharmonic with this year's concert season upon us with a lot of exciting live show options for you to choose from.
This includes currently scheduled performances by A-Ha, Boyz II Men, Sheryl Crow, Chvrches, Durand Jones & The Indications, Duran Duran, Billie Eilish, Flying Lotus, John Fogerty, The Gipsy Kings, Herbie Hancock, Debbie Harry, Grace Jones, Hiatus Kaiyote, Kenny Loggins, Ricky Martin, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Parcels, Pentatonix, Pink Martini, Polo & Pan, A.R. Rahman, The Roots, Diana Ross, Gwen Stefani, TLC, UB40, John Williams, and many more. Also, the Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor—and Scenestar favorite—Gustavo Dudamel will once again make several appearances for orchestral performances as well as the annual KCRW Summer Concert Series will be returning with some of our favorite acts.
Already announced lease shows featuring Backstreet Boys, Andrea Bocelli, Dave Chappelle, Cheap Trick, Dave Matthews Band, Florence + the Machine, Halsey, Japanese Breakfast, Jack Johnson, The Linda Lindas, John Mulaney, Nas, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Pitbull, Rex Orange County, Rüfüs Du Sol, Russ, Rod Stewart, The Who, Wu-Tang Clan, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and more are on sale now.
The Hollywood Bowl and L.A. Phil will kick off their season with two free concerts along with its neighbor, The Ford, as part of a two-day weekend festival, The 101 Fest. Artists and registration for free tickets will begin on Tuesday, May 10.
