Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Fonda Theatre (The Scenestar)

One of our favorite hometown acts will be playing a "secret show" taking place on April Fool's Day! The Red Hot Chili Peppers had previously announced some local "Global Stadium Tour" dates at SoFi Stadium with Beck and Thundercat on Sunday, July 31, and Petco Park on Wednesday, July 22, with Haim and Thundercat opening that show. Now besides playing the first-ever Amoeba Music in-store at their new Hollywood location on Thursday, April 7, at noon, the worst kept secret to the band's superfans is their other intimate show planned to take place at the Fonda Theatre with opener Irontom on Friday, April 1.

Tickets to see Red Hot Chili Peppers at Fonda Theatre are tentatively scheduled to go on sale on Friday, April 1, at 11 a.m. at the venue box office according to sources. Tickets are priced at $20 to $25 each with only 800 tickets being sold at the box office. KROQ will be giving away pairs of tickets during Nicole Alvarez’s show starting at 11 a.m.

UPDATE: Info was confirmed on flyers distributed to fans waiting to buy a copy of Unlimited Love at Amoeba Music in Hollywood when the store opens to secure their spot for their noon in-store.

Tickets to the Fonda Theatre are limited to 1 per person and are non-transferrable. There will be no online sales for tickets to the show. Be sure to get there ASAP and lineup if you can, especially if you're on Spring Break!
