One of this year's most anticipated music festivals has finally announced a lineup! Next's year's first-ever Primavera Sound in Los Angeles will be taking place from Friday, September 16, 2022, to Sunday, September 18, 2022, with headliners Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, and Nine Inch Nails. Other notable acts on the bill include Arca, Bad Gyal, Beak>, Bicep, James Blake, Boy Harsher, Buscabulla, Cigarettes After Sex, Clairo, Darkside, Dry Cleaning, Fontaines D.C., Georgia, Kim Gordon, Gustaf, Helena Hauff, Khruangbin, King Krule, Little Jesus, Low, Mitski, Paloma Mami, Shygirl, Special Interest, Stereolab, John Talabot, Faye Webster, Tierra Whack, and many more to be announced closer to the festival date. There will be sideshows taking place around the city leading up to the festival starting on Monday, September 12, 2022.
As we previously announced, Primavera Sound was originally scheduled to kick off their inaugural edition of Primavera Sound L.A. at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Saturday, September 19, 2020, to Sunday, September 20, 2020, but because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the music festival moved to Saturday, September 18, 2021, to Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Tickets will go on sale starting on Friday, December 10, at 10 a.m. via Frontgate starting at $399 to $450 each plus service fees for GA and $925 to $999 each plus service fees for VIP passes. There will also be two layaway options available for either 25% of your order down or $50 down per ticket purchased.
