Due to popular demand, Cruel World Music Festival is now happening twice next year! Cruel World already SOLD OUT their originally scheduled date on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Brookside at the Rose Bowl with headliners Bauhaus, Blondie, and Morrissey. The list of curated Goth and New Wave acts also included sets by The Church, Cold Cave, Devo, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Psychedelic Furs, Public Image Ltd., Violent Femmes, and many more.
Now a second day of the festival will be taking place on Sunday, May 15, 2022, with the same lineup, with the festival's Instagram account giving fans hints since yesterday.
Tickets to the second day of Cruel World 2022 will go on sale on Wednesday, June 30, at 12 p.m. via the festival ticketing site with tiered pricing starting at $159 to $179 each plus service fees for general admission, $349 each plus service fees for VIP, and $549 and $799 each plus service fees for either Clubhouse or Clubhouse Platinum (Which includes a special viewing area and preferred parking). Either VIP option grants you everything a GA ticket provides, plus dedicated VIP entry, access to the VIP area adjacent to the main stage, air-conditioned restrooms, additional shade and seating areas, exclusive food & beverage vendors, and a commemorative festival poster. Payment plans for tickets start at $29.99 down to secure your tickets during the festival on sale.
There will also be an additional presale on Wednesday, June 30, at 12 p.m. which you can register here now for the chance to purchase tickets. Code: WHIPIT. The remaining inventory from the presale will be sold at 2 p.m.
