It's that time once again to see which Coachella 2020 acts are playing sideshows this year! Goldenvoice has released the first wave of local Goldenvoice Presents April shows, featuring concerts with Coachella 2020 acts in and around Los Angeles which are new or already scheduled at press time. Those shows include performances by Altın Gün, BADBADNOTGOOD, Alec Benjamin, Big Wild, Black Coffee, Chicano Batman, Cuco, Disclosure, Doja Cat, FKA Twigs, Fontaines D.C., IDLES, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Madeon, Marina, Hatsune Miku, Snail Mail, Orville Peck, Princess Nokia, Weyes Blood, Yaeji, Nilufer Yanya, and many more.
The venues for these upcoming shows include El Rey Theatre, Fonda Theatre, Fox Theater Pomona, Glass House, The Novo, Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace, Roxy, Santa Barbara Bowl, Shrine Auditorium, Theatre at Ace Hotel, and Yost Theater, among others. We'll update this story as more shows are announced. Tickets for these "Localchella" shows go on sale starting February 21 at 12 p.m.
As previously announced, Coachella 2020 will be taking place as always at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., which will feature headliners Frank Ocean, Rage Against The Machine, and Travis Scott, Weekend 1 will take place April 10 to April 12, and Weekend 2 will be held April 17 to April 19. Festival passes are currently SOLD OUT.
