Be still our hearts, Scenestar readers. More proof that Amoeba Music will stay in our lives comes courtesy of the announcement of the future location of the iconic Los Angeles record store in a teaser video featuring local Grammy winner Tyler, The Creator. The store is set to open in Fall 2020 (Tentatively around Labor Day) on the corner of Hollywood and Argyle in the new “El Centro Hollywood” complex in Downtown Hollywood.
It will be located next to the Fonda Theatre and Hollywood Palladium so it will be the perfect place to kill time before the show (or after if it ends early). We're so excited for the city to still be able to host the largest record store in the world and we're also looking forward to the in-store performances at the new location with what looks like a bigger stage. Check out the teaser video below and we'll keep you posted on the official closing of the old location, and the opening of the new Amoeba Music location Scenestar readers!
