Bad news FYF Fest fans. The beloved yearly music festival was canceled for 2018. This year's headlining sets included Janet Jackson, Florence + the Machine, St. Vincent, The XX, and My Bloody Valentine, among others. The festival was to be held at Exposition Park on Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22. Although it can not be verified officially at press time, Billboard states poor ticket sales as the cause.
FYF Fest and Goldenvoice will reach out to ticket buyers on refunds. We at The Scenestar hope the festival returns in 2019 bigger and stronger than ever. For now, we'll keep you posted on any additional tour dates featuring FYF Fest 2018 acts around Los Angeles, The Scenestar readers.
