It's time once again to announce this year's Coachella sideshows, Scenestar readers! Goldenvoice has released the first wave of local Goldenvoice Presents April shows featuring Coachella 2017 acts, with concerts in and around Los Angeles featuring The Avalanches, Bonobo, Car Seat Headrest, Chicano Batman, Empire of the Sun, Future Islands, Hinds, New Order, Nicolas Jaar, Jagwar Ma, Little Dragon, Local Natives, Oh Wonder, Hans Zimmer, and many more. The venues for these upcoming shows include the Constellation Room, Echo, El Rey Theatre, Fonda Theatre, Fox Theater, Glass House, Mayan Theater, The Novo by Microsoft, Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace, The Roxy, Shrine Auditorium, Theatre at Ace Hotel, and Ventura Theater, among others. We'll update this story as more shows are announced. Tickets for these "Localchella" shows will go on sale starting Friday, February 17, at 10:00 a.m.
As previously announced, the Coachella 2017 music festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., will feature headliners Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and Radiohead. Weekend 1 will take place from Friday, April 14, to Sunday, April 16, and Weekend 2 will be held from Friday, April 21, to Sunday, April 23. Festival passes are SOLD OUT.
