FYF Fest Reveals The 2016 Festival Lineup (The Scenestar)

One of our favorite summer festivals has announced its lineup a little earlier than usual, Scenestar readers! On 89.9 FM KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, DJ Jason Bentley announced the festival's headliners at 9:35 a.m. today, and the complete festival lineup was announced by FYF Fest 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

Held once again at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park near USC, FYF Fest 2016 will feature headliners Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala on Saturday, August 27, and LCD Soundsystem and Grace Jones on Sunday, August 28. Also performing: Air, ANOHNI, Beach House, Blood Orange, Julien Baker, DIIV, Explosions in the Sky, Father John Misty, Floating Points, Alex G, Gold Panda, Grimes, Julia Holter, Head Wound City, Hot Chip, Jagwar Ma, Junior Boys, Moby (DJ set), Museum of Love, Peter Bjorn & John, Saves the Day, Ty Segall & The Muggers, Vince Staples, Todd Terje & the Olsens, Viet Cong, Wolf Parade, and many more!

Tickets for FYF Fest 2016 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park will go on sale Friday, April 1, at 12:00 p.m., PST (Waiting room opens at 11:00 a.m., PST), via the festival's ticketing site for $125.00 (one-day pass) and $199.00 (two-day pass) plus service fees. One-day passes will be sold online only. Two-day passes are available online as well as at select retailers, including Amoeba Music and Fingerprints Music, which will sell them for $212.00, cash only. A 21+ VIP weekend pass will be available for $339.00 plus service fees. Also, there is a layaway plan, which will cost $54.08 per month for four months for GA passes; tickets must be purchased before Saturday, April 30.
