FYF Fest Releases The 2015 Festival Lineup (The Scenestar)

The summer festival lineup we've been waiting for is finally here, Scenestar readers! Like last year, festival founder Sean Carlson was a guest on 89.9 FM KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic with Jason Bentley, and at 10:00 a.m. he announced the lineup for FYF Fest 2015. Held once again at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park near USC, FYF Fest 2015 will feature headliners Frank Ocean on Saturday, August 22, and Morrissey on Sunday, August 23. Also performing: Alvvays, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Battles, Belle & Sebastian, Bloc Party, Broncho, Cold Cave, D'Angelo and the Vanguard, Death Grips, Deerhunter, Mac DeMarco, Dinosaur Jr., The Drums, Chet Faker, Flume, DJ Harvey, Health, Jon Hopkins, Tobias Jesso Jr., The Jesus and Mary Chain, FKA Twigs, Nicolas Jaar, Kaytranada, Lower Dens, Laura Marling, Melody's Echo Chamber, Neon Indian, Purity Ring, Run The Jewels, Savages, Shlohmo, Solange, Spiritualized, Tennis, Thee Oh Sees, Title Fight, Toro Y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and many more!

Tickets for FYF Fest 2015 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park will go on sale Friday, May 8, at 12:00 p.m., PST, via Event Sprout for $109.00 (one-day pass) and $175.00 (two-day pass) plus service fees. One-day passes will be sold online only. Two-day passes are available online as well as at select retailers, including Origami Vinyl, Vacation Vinyl, Amoeba Music, and Fingerprints Music, among others. A 21+ VIP weekend pass will be available for $329.00 plus service fees. Also, there is a layaway plan, with an initial 33% down and two subsequent payments on June 15 and July 15.
