What a great week so far, Scenestar readers. Following the Los Angeles Kings' win over the New York Rangers last night, we're one win away from the return of the Stanley Cup to the City of Angels! We're also set for the return of one of our favorite artists, Jack White, who takes our Show of the Night title. The former lead singer of White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather, Jack White will kick off the first of his three locally scheduled tour dates at Fonda Theatre tonight, in support of his new album Lazaretto. He also has a show at the Mayan Theater on Wednesday, June 11, and the Fox Theater in Pomona on Thursday, June 12. Opening the shows will be Cold War Kids. Also, the show at the Fonda Theatre tonight will be streamed live via video webcast, courtesy of NPR.
