As we previously reported, the Gibson Amphitheatre will be torn down to make room for the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios. As a result, KROQ's annual Almost Acoustic Christmas event will move back to the Shrine Auditorium, where it was last held in 1998! Today at around 7:15 a.m., Kevin & Bean announced the Saturday, Dec. 7, lineup for Night One of the 24th annual Almost Acoustic Christmas, which will feature performances by AFI, Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, Foals, Grouplove, New Politics, Queens Of The Stone Age, Kings Of Leon, and Vampire Weekend. The lineup for Night Two on Sunday, Dec. 8, will be announced on Monday, Nov. 11, at 7:15 a.m.
Tickets for KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas Night One will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 8, at 12:00 p.m. via Ticketmaster for $96.25 to $120.25 each plus service fees. There is a two (2) ticket limit. Pit tickets are $177.50 each plus service fees. You must be a Street Team member to buy tickets, so sign up now to get the password and buy your tickets.
