Our summer concert calendar just got filled this morning, Scenestar readers! The Hollywood Bowl summer season schedule has been released to the public today, Jan. 29. There's always an extensive list of eclectic shows for different music tastes, so you have a little bit of everything this year at the Hollywood Bowl.
This year's Hollywood Bowl shows will include performances by Tony Bennett, The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Natalie Cole, DeVotchKa, Diavolo, Earth, Wind & Fire, Josh Groban, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Queen Latifah, M83 (with full orchestra), Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Steve Martin, Sergio Mendes, Willie Nelson, Madeleine Peyroux, Phantogram, Pink Martini, Rodrigo y Gabriela, She & Him, and The Sun Ra Arkestra. Also, Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor—and Scenestar favorite—Gustavo Dudamel will make several appearances at the Hollywood Bowl with orchestral performances. Individual tickets to these Hollywood Bowl shows should take place in a few months via Ticketmaster, but you can purchase subscriptions right now for the best seats. Song kick lists a The XX show there at end of September. But not on that list. Hmmm.

My hunch is that the XX show cannot be announced until after Coachella.
