On the eve of performing its first shows in a long time, Interpol is returning to former record label Matador, which will release the band's new self-titled album on Tuesday, Sept. 14. Interpol has scheduled shows next week in New York at Water Street Music Hall on June 21 and Town Ballroom on June 22. The band will also perform on June 23 at Mr. Small's Fun House Theatre and on June 25 at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Pennsylvania. Local Interpol dates still have not been announced, but we'll keep you updated, Scenestar readers!

I want Matador to have Cold Cave open for Interpol. That would be awesome.
