The French electronic duo consisting of brothers Carl and Renaud aka Jersey will be headlining an 18+ show tonight at the Fonda Theatre as part of their current "Please, Don't Break Our New Synths World Tour." Covex will be opening the show.

BUY TICKETS: Rock N’ Roll Benefit Show For Pegzilla w/ Idol Lord, The Crotches, The Freeks, & Dizz Brew at Redwood Bar & Grill (8:00pm)

The benefit shows are coming, Scenestar readers! Live music is starting to come back slightly while the city heals and some include raising funds for those affected including our Show of the Night: Rock N' Roll Benefit Show for Pegzilla. The band Pegzilla will not be performing due to losing their instruments and possessions in the Eaton Fire in Altadena and their friends Idol Lord, The Crotches, The Freeks, and Dizz Brew will be performing at Redwood Bar & Grill in Downtown Los Angeles tonight for $10 at the door as part of a fundraiser.

If you can't make it, you can donate here (for Olivia) and here (for Juan Miguel) to help the members of Pegzilla directly.

Live music is here to try to help us heal, Scenestar readers. It's a nice distraction if you're up for it and what better way than to take in the sounds of our Show of the Night: Meshell Ndegeocello! Singer-songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello will be kicking off her very brief L.A. residency tonight at the Lodge Room in Highland Park in support of her latest release, No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin. You can also see Meshell Ndegeocello live at the Lodge Room on Wednesday, January 15, at 7:30pm and 10:15pm.

We hope the start of your week is going better than usual, Scenestar readers. Los Angeles is still facing high winds and recovering from last week's fires, but the fundraisers keep popping up courtesy of our Show of the Night: Monday Monday! A weekly curated showcase of the best singers and songwriters in the LA music scene at the Hotel Cafe's 2nd Stage will not only be celebrating the 12th anniversary of their 21+ Hollywood residency tonight but also raising funds to help in the recovery of the L.A. fires. The Monday Monday lineup includes performances by Kalie Shorr, Francis Blume, Mike Vitale, Angel Taylor, Chris Vos, Jadea Kelly, Shane Alexander, Rosa Pullman, Ben Matin, and Joel Eckels. Proceeds will benefit the fire victims in our music community.

The weekend is almost over, but we didn't want to end it without saying thank you to all the firefighters who are keeping us safe and the volunteers all over the city trying to help their neighbors through this tragedy. There are even more cancellations and postponements, Scenestar readers, but Los Angeles has some concert options to distract you from the madness, including our Show of the Night: Emery! The post-hardcore band are on tour performing their debut release, The Weak's End, in full tonight at the Regent Theater in Downtown Los Angeles with openers Lacey Sturm and Bad Luck.

You can also see Emery live at the Glass House in Pomona on Monday, January 13.

We're still not out of it quite yet, Scenestar readers. Los Angeles is still affected by the fires and a lot of concert options have dwindled, but if you need music as a temporary relief, you can check out our Show of the Night: Lee Fields. After careful consideration, the soul singer will still be taking the stage tonight at the Fonda Theatre with Bay Area neo-psychedelic soul band Monophonics co-headling the show. Proceeds for merchandise sales will benefit Music Cares to help musicians affected by the fires.

You can also see Lee Fields perform in support of his latest release, Sentimental Soul, at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace on Thursday, January 16.

Even more concerts got canceled, postponed, or rescheduled for a good reason in Los Angeles, but there's still a few concert options out there (mostly in less affected areas of the city) that need the entertainment to get through these unprecedented events in the city including our Show of the Night: Regional Justice Center! Their concert tonight at First Street Pool and Billiard Parlor is now a fundraiser for those affected by the LA Fires with Regional Justice Center being joined by openers Azariel Fly, Firestarter, and World Peace.
